The Valley Cafe Ice Cream & Sweet Shoppe

The ice cream here was absolutely delicious! There were about 2 dozen flavors to pick from. Bassett’s ice cream is amazing; the vanilla in the ice cream is vanilla bean and not artificial. This ice cream is super rich! The other ingredients were also delicious and loaded throughout the ice cream. My wife got pistachio and I had the peanut butter ripple and both had generous amounts of pistachios and peanut butter throughout. The young woman at the counter was also very friendly and helpful.

Had breakfast here this morning with my girlfriend. Small with maybe 8 tables, felt very family owned as it is. Very accommodating, did not wait long for our food. Even after I accidentally knocked over a glass dish holding coffee sweeteners, they were pleasant, understanding, and joked about the embarrassing event. The meal was very good, coffee cup never went dry, and next time I’m in the area, I have no doubt I will return.

Very Friendly atmosphere combined with great home cooked food made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Choosing from one of the scrumptious desserts was so difficult but no matter which one you went with you were a winner.

Their breakfast is home cooked and tasty! Expect a slightly longer wait for your food because of it; made from scratch takes a bit longer. The baked goods are equally delicious and homemade.

The staff is friendly and went out of their way to help us select our meals. Plenty of options and specials.

Lots of flavors and friendly service. I just discovered this place. It's locally owned and the in my opinion is the best icecream scoop shop in the Williamsport area!

Tried to find a close place for lunch on a day out hiking. Was not disappointed! Many items to choose from, yummy and friendly folks.
