First time here and it is awesome. The pork bbq was so tender and moist, the chili & French fries were good. Service was great. This will be a favorite place from now on.

Food is great not just BBQs .. service excellent.. can always order ahead .. chocolate milk & a bag BBQ chips ...

My wife took me to Stookeys for the first time. We had lunch which as pretty good. Prices are inexpensive and the service was good.

I make sure to hit this place every time I make the trip up from FL to see my grandmother. We always get the pork bbqs with extra relish. I need to remember yall sell frozen BBQ so I can definitely take some home next time.

My husband and I go here a bunch. During better weather, at least once a week. As a kid, we would beg my parents to go here. (Since they loved it too, they would oblige as often as they could)The meats here are super fresh and very reasonably priced. Always have been! Their employees are always very friendly, and The location is super easy to get to. We hope this place stays in business for many more generations to come!

June 2022 .... a pulled turkey sandwich , bag of chips and soda for under $ 8 per person. sandwiches are all over filled with meat , unbelievably tender and seasoned perfectly. simple no thrills dining room with extremely polite and efficient staff . August 20 , 2023 follow up .... drove back up from Allentown today and revisited ... different employees are working but nothing else has changed .... the food was great and the young employees provided excellent 👍 courteous and efficient service proving themselves to be a credit to both the Stookey's management and to their parents. 👌job well done.

Long time customer. Delicious and perfect every single time. I LOVE the smoked chicken salad and all of their soups! Everything is homemade. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is always professional, kind and clean. Keep up the awesome work!

Greatest place in west Nanticoke! The sandwiches are amazing and staff are down to earth! Great place for family! The Pork Turkey Ham Beef And Brisket sandwiches are the best in P.a. The chili is really good as well and now they have Potato pancakes! Small but delicious! Also remember,
The staff works for their tips so make sure you tip them because they deserve it.

Visited today with son. First time I’ve eaten here since high school. I’m currently 48. Excellent food, great service! My wife who grew up outside the area is currently enjoying some of the take home turkey BBQ as I type. Can’t wait to bring her along and visit again!

Great food, quick service, friendly staff. I had the pork BBQ with relish, which was fantastic and brought me back to my childhood. The French fries were also really good, reminded me of stadium fries.

We also had the half chicken which was perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend you’d try this place!

Love the BBQ sandwiches, Have been going there for 40+ years! No place compares to Stookey's. I especially like the pork and beef while my wife prefers the turkey. No matter what you can't go wrong. Also make sure you order with relish.

Plan on going again. It was decades since I had one of their BBQ's and decided to stop in after I dropped a friend off after work. Their food is just as great as it was over 20 years ago. Prices are slightly below those for a meal of equal size at a burger-chain (and much, much healthier), the servers are prompt and friendly, and it felt comfortable and cozy sitting there to eat and relax. Glad this another Mom and Pop place that stayed afloat in the onslaught of processed, over-priced, fast food.

Great food and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and service is fast and as always the pork bbq sandwhiches and fries are amazing !! Definitely a must stop on your travels!

I've been coming here since I was a kid (I'm 48) - the smoked bbqs are still delicious. I don't live in the immediate area anymore, but when I do swing by, I always make a special effort to stop for a meal. Thank you for your many many years of great food and memories.
