Resica Falls Scout Reservation

Absolutely stunning. The falls have a beautiful viewing area that is extremely clean. The staff is nice, and the campsites are clean. They have a number of clean cabins, and during our trip to Resica, I was amazed at how clean they were compared to other cabins. It was fairly easy to set up camp in tents, as the staff have built wooden tent bases around the camping areas, as well as easy access to firewood. The bathrooms outside the cabin are mildly dirty, but the campsite was an overall positive experience.

Beautiful place. All the fencing that was put up somewhat recently is disappointing and takes away from the view, but it's understandable why it's there. It took me 5 years to discover there's hiking trails. I'll be going more often

The pictures only capture a small portion of this wonderful piece of nature. I was a camper and counselor here in the 60's. I absolutely loved hiking this entire area. I finished off the needed merit badges for Eagle Scout the year I worked as a Program Specialist Counselor. The time spent here was some of the best time of my youth. Great friends, dedicated and knowledgeable adults. An overall great place to have as part of growing up.

My troop has been coming here every other year for many years. On the off years we go to other summer camp programs. This place offers probably the most merit badge classes. Staff is super friendly. Chris Brenner has really developed a wonderful program. You can tell how much he loves his job by just watching him and his staff. Resica offers a very challenging COPE course. If there you must take the troop to Cool Dip and or Fossil Rock. I won't ruin it for you but it will make for great memories that will last a lifetime.

This camp gets better every year. The staff is great. Highlights are a pool slide, a Native American village, basketball and gaga courts, COPE and STEM. But the real gems that set this apart are the numerous swimming holes that are an easy hike from camp. Schedule badges in the morning and take your troop on a different adventure every afternoon.

45-years ago this place was the Center of my Universe. Camping, fishing, swimming and hiking is what we accomplished each day. Troop 112 ruled the roost back then. We came in and took over the place for one week each summer!

Great area for the general public to enjoy the falls. Do not go beyond this point. Don’t wreck it for the others by being disrespectful and destroying the area. It’s by their good graces they allow the public to enjoy these falls, and it’s their right to take it away.

Great scout camp with a great staff. We have been there many times as a troop and never been disappointed! Make sure to take advantage of the troop activities like the water hole hikes and canoeing adventures!

Great spot easy to access;
Stay outta the camp & only the "Public Area's".
There is public parking allowed just over the Speed bumps.
Currently requiring masks at all times

Very nice camp I've speant allot of time there as a camper, and will be on staff this year. Definitely reccomend

we love waterfalls so this was a nice stop over for a break. benches are available for a rest and views of the falls

As a Scout leader I’ve been to Resica five or six times for summer camp. Our leaders and boys always had a great time and the boys always took the opportunities for advancement. All in all a swell place to spend a week.

The Falls are absolutely beautiful!! The picnic area is very nice. Very peaceful and quiet.

Went as a camper/staff member amazing transformation with the improvements. Activities for younger Scouts & high adventure for older Scouts. Tons of trails/swimming areas/programs!

Great Scout Reservation for Boy Scouts of all ages. 4200 acres with great trails. Highly recommend a week long summer stay.

Great childhood memories . I attended the camp as a eager scout and also had the pleasure to work at the camp for a summer . When I was teen .I sure hope Resica Falls Camp is as good as I remember it.
