Jessica with Hampton helped me book a wedding room block and she was so friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable and quick to setup the block for us and quick to respond to any questions I had. She was very helpful to my guests who choose to add a second night to their stay. The hotel also had no problem giving out our welcome bags to guests. Thank you Hampton Inn Mount Joy/Lancaster!

I am changing my review. I spoke to Jen the general manager today and she discussed each problem and is addressing them. I really appreciate and feel that what I said was taken seriously and she is now handling it. Thank you!!

I have changed my review to 1 star. The hotel doesn’t even respond to bad reviews. They have not contacted us in anyway which makes believe that they care very little about improving customer relations.

My husband and I stayed here and we can say that the breakfasts were good and the staff were very friendly and nice. Unfortunately that is all of the positive points we can state. The room that we were supposed to have wasn’t cleaned when we arrived so the person at the front desk upgraded our room, which was nice, but that bed was so hard that the two nights we stayed neither of us got much sleep. We talked to the front desk in the morning and was told that all the beds are from the same manufacturer and there was little the could do. We have stayed at many Hampton inns and this was the first time we ran into any problems at all. The 3rd floor hallway smelled so awful, kind of like a mix between old cigarettes and mold. The doors down by the pool was a very big concern. The outside door opens up automatically when you open the other door to enter or leave the area going to the pool. Anyone could walk in that door and no one can see it. It isn’t at the front desk area. You don’t need to use a room key to use the elevators and anyone can go in that door and go thru the entire hotel. This is a real concern especially in the world we live in right now. When we spoke to the person at the front desk about the bed we got the impression that what we said didn’t really matter and he didn’t really care much. I tried to talk to the women at the desk when we checked out and she didn’t even reply to what we said. It is just disappointing that this happened and we have always loved Hampton Inns. I would hope that someone will respond to these issues and respond back to us. I know this isn’t feedback that you want but I do feel strongly that you need to know.

I used this hotel for my main room block of my wedding over MDW 2024- they were so accommodating and did a fantastic job! The hotel is nicely renovated and despite the hotel being literally 100% booked they were running smoothly the whole weekend. Shoutout to Jessica who helped me arrange the room block, answered dozens of emails with my random questions, and was so lovely when we arrived! Great experience, thank you so much!

We have stayed here on a few trips into town from NW Ohio. The rooms, front desk staff and house cleaning staff have always been superb.
The breakfast staff have always been so helpful as well. Kind and friendly every time!

We used this hotel for a quick getaway and we were not disappointed! Staff was super friendly and eager to help. The entire hotel seemed clean and well cared for. The pool area was awesome and we throughly enjoyed hanging out there for a couple hours.

The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and give a great first impression. It feels pretty up to date. Everything worked fine. They keep the rooms warmer by default, but you have a thermostat for the room where you can crank up the AC. Fridge was fairly big for a mini fridge and kept things cool, not great for freezing. The bed was comfortable but a bit too soft for me. The soaps they provided were pretty nice, but this hotel had some of the hardest water I have experienced. The area around the hotel has lots of places to eat from fast food to a sit-down restaurant. The gym was larger than I had seen at other hotels.

I just checked out after spending the night for business. The service was top notch, employees were friendly and accommodating. The building and room were very clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a small food court located across the parking lot. My only real complaint (and this is minor) was the position of the bed in my room. Instead of being directly across from the TV like you would find in other rooms, it was facing the window with the TV to its side. This seemed like an awkward choice, not to mention the sun comes in around the curtains. Like I said that is minor and did not impact my stay. Well done, I'll definitely return when business brings me back this way.

We just spent 3 nights at the Mount Joy Hampton Inn while in town for our son’s wedding. We had a terrific stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We utilized the Huber Room for the rehearsal dinner which worked out great! Jessica was very helpful to work with in setting this up and even made some catering suggestions for us. Since we were trying to set this up from out of town and not familiar with the area, this was particularly helpful! The front desk staff was attentive and courteous.

Our night manager was welcoming, accommodating, and did everything possible to make our brief stay great! We arrived late and had to leave early the next morning but felt cared for and rested due to her extra efforts
- which she humbly explained was her job. The rooms were the cleanest of any hotel we've stayed during the past year and exactly as we had requested. We'll definitely be back for some longer stays!

It is one of the best locations I have stayed in. The hotel was perfectly cleaned and properly maintained. Location has all amenities literally across the parking lot. All roads to and from the hotel are easily navigatable, and highway access is extremely close to hotel. The pool was the best I have experienced at any Hampton Inn location. The snack bar was even reasonably priced!

We recently stayed here for 2 nights while while celebrating my sons birthday and visiting Lancaster and Hershey PA. Our first night we stayed at the Hershey Lodge but we came here our second night to be closer to Lancaster. We had a wonderful stay, the hotel was very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I had caught the name of the woman who checked us in because she was so sweet and helpful our whole stay. Our rooms were nice, stocked with everything and the beds were surprisingly comfortable (we have a sleep number so usually I have trouble sleeping on hotel beds). We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub both nights during our stay. The only thing that wasn’t great was the free breakfast. It is similar to breakfast we have had at other Hampton Inns so I’m sure it’s a corporate thing but Hilton needs to do better. My husband isn’t picky at all and he even skipped breakfast because it was just so bad. The first day I grabbed a blueberry muffin but we just grabbed something outside of the hotel for breakfast the next day. So if you’re going because one of the perks is free breakfast don’t count on it being a very good breakfast. That being said the rest of the hotel made up for it and I will take friendly staff and clean rooms over a good breakfast any day.

Had a very wonderful experience here! So very clean and the friendliest staff! I especially want to recognize Loretta who was so friendly and helpful every morning at breakfast. My husband and I took a tour group of 52 people! Everyone was very satisfied!

I Loved our experience here. We stayed for 2 days and We were part of a wedding block for Heather and Daniel and the staff was just phenomenal. I worked and managed in customer service for over 12 years and when there is exceptional service I believe in recognizing it. In especially Angel (front desk) and Jamie(housekeeping) and two of the breakfast staff that I didn't catch their names were absolutely Excellent. So friendly, accommodating and The breakfast staff even let us still grab breakfast a little late because my sister arrived from church late and Angel is so patient and pleasant such a pleasure talk to. Jamie was just kind and careful to attention and all the rooms were spick and span. And just everyone from Ron In Maintenance to Bella were just so kind and hospitable. I'd we're In the area again this will definitely be our choice hotel. Also the pool and hot tub were so nice! (Though I suggest opening a door because it gets hot in there) The only grievance if you want to call it that I had was the water pressure was not good at all lol but that's easily fixable and I'd take kind hospitable staff any day. Also the bride and grooms room was pretty tiny and their air conditioner wasn't working right along with water pressure but we had many rooms and they were great so I'm sure they'll take care of them.

I wanted to share what a great stay I had. Most important was the service I received upon departure.A huge Thank you to Angel A. He went above and beyond service he provided to me. I was in a pinch and he helped me print a much needed form. He could see I was frazzled and gave me a cold bottle of water. All so polite and with a smile. Angel your awesome, stay awesome my friend. Hampton you have a super employee there. Angel saved my day!

Very nice and quiet. They seem to have added extra soundproofing on the door frames that I have never seen before. Roll this out to all Hilton brand hotels please! It works well!

This is a high level of excellence Hampton Inn. I really can't say I've stayed at a bad one but this one is premium quality, cleanliness and is perfectly maintained. Landscaping is excellent. Great value and all the staff are so welcoming!

The Staff are First Class, Chase is a 10 Star Employee just one of the best Hotel Staff we have interacted with. The Accommodations are First Class. The Young man who checked us in was awesome. Fred did a excellent job with the Breakfast the Manager is a Rock Star, for the staff to do a Huddle and go over the events is a Great Touch (other Hotels should follow the lead of this Team). A Family friendly staff, who push to make your stay as if you never left home. A OVER AND ABOVE STAFF who care about its guest. House keeping staff is excellent going the extra Mile to keep the Property looking new. Rooms are very clean and meet and exceed the mark of the Hilton Brand. Very Positive Environment, even the Engineering staff are Team players in the hotels success. The only thing Hilton is missing is the Computer in the Business area but they do have a Printer. The Manager is knowledgeable and thoughtful. Thanks for the Awesome stay.

Great place to stay,was not noisy at all clean and comfortable rooms and beds nice size bathroom,. The only issue I had was with the breakfast bar.
The gal working did not believe me that the waffle mix was out and then when I told her that the milk was also empty she rolled her eyes. And sighed.
But other than that it's a great place to stay.

Recently we stayed here while visiting PA on a mini family vacation. Very clean and friendly staff. My kids enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. A nice selection; from make your own waffle to some type of cooked eggs (scrambled, omelette etc) to cereal etc. Nice location as it’s not too far from anything (restaurants, gas stations, grocery store) and/or access to major roads. Also would like to point out the views were absolutely beautiful as its in their prime season of agricultural aka corn fields for miles along with stunning old farms.

Watch the elevators. The staff is excellent. Needs an above ground pool and watch parking lot people drive like idiots. Front desk people Angel and Gavin are the best. Cleaning staff and management too. High traffic area so bring ear plugs if your autistic.

One of the best Hampton Inn location. Front desk staff were very professional, helpful and definitely customer oriented. The food service crew took really good care of the dining part of our stay. Cleaning crew were awesome! Kept and maintained our room requirement.
