Village Handmade

I am a quilter and I am also a seller at village. And the quality is unrivaled compared to other quilt shops. The quilts are beautiful. What I like about village us that each quilt in unique and no two are alike. The manager sheila was very nice and pleasant to talk to. I will definitely be doing my business and shopping there again.

Before I went to this store, a quilt was a quilt. I walked in, spied the Black and Gold/cream Hearts Quilt, and a world opened up to me. I am always on the lookout for personalized and unique experiences to share, but this quilt is a treasure I can have all to myself. Everyone I talked to, including "Linda", and especially "Sheila", was pleasant, organized and excited to share their art. Just in time for my birthday, the gorgeous king-sized quilt arrived, beautifully wrapped and packaged in a way I can use or can continue to store myself (along with a handwritten note of congratulations, and carefully packaged details). The artist's signature is even discreetly listed, so I can know the specialist who created my quilt. Thank you Barba (quilt artist), thank you Sheila (and other sweet team members I spoke with), and thank you Kitchen Kettle Village Quilts in Pennsylvania for making this Washington girl's new dream come true :) (Picture is a shop picture)

I never thought I would be so interested in quilts. The staff at the store goes above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for. Or find something you saw in a past visit that was sold..

Quaint, clean store with beautiful items and helpful, friendly staff. I TOTALLY disagree with review that said staff is not friendly, they were attentive and helpful and joking with people. The atmosphere was awesome. A lot of places make you put on white gloves to view the quilts! What? Not. I want happy and welcoming--my husband and pets will be sleeping on this purchase, no "snobbiness" here!

The Village Quilts is located in the Kettle Kitchen Lancaster Pa complex. It's a wonderful store with Amish quilts that are locally made. The colors and patterns are all very beautiful. When in the area this is a must to add as one of your stops.
