The Inn at Bully's

A surprising hidden gem in Lancaster county, I have lived in Lancaster county since 2005 and I passed this restaurant everyday. We had friends visiting from Virginia Beach and this restaurant was close to their air B&B so we decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the history of this restaurant and the neighborhood influence. The food ,price and service was absolutely amazing I can't wait to get back there soon...

I didn't stay in the Inn, but we heard it was really lovely. We had a lovely, romantic dinner at the restaurant. I met the owner's husband, a really nice guy! They accommodated us in the bar area (high-top table) when we needed a reservation and the place was packed. We will definitely be coming back the next time that we are in Columbia, PA. Tell 'em Kelly sent ya!

We had a great stay for our 6th anniversary! The innkeeper met us personally to check us in, and personally greeted us throughout the stay. We stayed at the inn to and walked downtown to peruse the antique shops. The common area kept exclusively for overnight guests had a very nice area to lounge and was stocked with snacks and water. Dinner at the tavern was excellent, with some very unique dinner menu items and desserts. After dinner the wine and mixed drinks were great as well, and it was nice to be able to walk directly up to the room. In the morning we walked to local coffee shop by the river before checking out. The room was unique, clean, and tasteful, and had a large bathroom. Overall we would highly recommend staying and eating here.

Awesome that they accommodated our larger group. Good dinner and drink specials. I had a burger, very tasty home blend of meats that was cooked to perfection

Food was very good. Bangers and mash was right on and ribs were outstanding while being slightly pricey. Great atmosphere and server was nice and attentive but we were 1st in the door. We'll come back

We came to town for a wedding and were struggling to find good options in the vicinity. We found this inn in a google search and were a bit skeptical. It ended up being such a gem of a stay . The owner let us check in early to get ready for the wedding . Quiet and clean everything we needed and more. There was a nice shared area that offered coffee snacks and pastries—nice touch. Would have loved to try the restaurant but the wedding took too long. Next time!

This place has been on our list for a while. We finally made it there and we’re so pleased that we did. The place was clean and impeccable and very comfortable. The staff were beyond helpful, and were attentive to our every need. Food was exceptional. The flavors were robust and layered. The flavor profile was enhanced in the sauces, herbs and spices used to draw out the flavor of the meal. We had the ahi tuna and duck comfit. Both meals were exceptional. The dessert was delectable- cheesecake and cream brûlée. We will be back.

We love staying at the Bully. Their dinner menu is great( try the Mac n cheese) A+++++++

It's one of my favorite restaurants. Great atmosphere, good food, and good service. The beer list is the best.

The Inn at Bully's was perfect for my stay. It's very clean and cozy. The owner was so nice and made me feel very competitive as a woman traveling alone. I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this quiant little Inn.

Love this hotel. My husband and I have used this inn when we decide to spend a weekend antiquing in nearby Adamstown. In walking distance to downtown Columbia which has plenty of charm, antiques, and good eats. Very comfortable beds, good wifi, clean, and has a common room with coffee, water, snacks. Simple but delicious muffins for breakfast. Definitely recommend, especially for couples.

While backpacking the Mason Dixon Trail, my girlfriend and I were stuck without a place to stay.
Dave, owner of Bully's was friendly and welcoming on the phone when I called to inquire.
Upon arrival, we found this outstanding location to have all of the ambiance of an expensive bed and breakfast at a great price. Dave has restored this historic railroad hotel to it's former glory as a hotel and restaurant with great care. The staff are all friendly, and even the patrons are wonderful (and bought me a drink when I walked in!).
Success stories like we see with this establishment deserve everyone's patronage.

Totally enjoyable. The service was impeccable and the sweet potato fries were outrageously delicious. Asked our waiter the ingredients and she said it was a secret recipe that only the owner knows.

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night after a long day and it was excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable! Wish we could have stayed for a meal at the restaurant but we didn’t have much time. We would highly recommend it and would love to stay there again if we are ever in the area!

My wife and I were the first guests to stay here after its major renovation and re-opening in 2010. Our room and the entire establishment was top-notch: Classy, well-appointed, extremely attentive service. We have stayed here multiple times over the years since then, always with the same experience.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Exactly what we needed. The common area was nice and comfortable. Having a seperate entrance into the pub was great!

Outstanding as usual. Fantastic food. Chef knows what he's doing. Food is always excellent at Bully's. Good choice of draft craft beer. Also they offer the beer Bible for bottled or can draft beer.
