Groff's Meats

This place is a must go for locals and out of towners. I love the Groff Sweet Baloney and the Cooper Black Pepper Cheese. Get enough to make sandwiches for weeks! The meats look incredibly fresh and nicely priced.

Boy, do these people work hard! I happened in at the last minute for a turkey and they found me exactly what I needed. It was a Miracle on Market Street. Their spreads and cold salads were perfect for the after dinner dinner on Thanksgiving. I'll be back for sure.

I may have just gone in with a piece of meat that I purchased from them earlier in the week to ask if it looked okay… 😅 I knew I was most likely overthinking things, but the ladies there were so kind, patient, and helpful! I feel very lucky to have such a great butcher with such kind workers in my neighborhood!

They have a great variety of meats they have the best sweet Bologna and they have everything from smoked Cajun sausage to the most wonderful steaks to doggie bones. And that nice deli area with salads and puddings in all kinds of yummies.
I also have that more traditional central Pennsylvania things like souce and hog Maw.

Great local butcher. The sweet sticks are the must have,but anything i get here is always good. Highly recommend the smoked hams and sausage and bologna.
Don't forget the macaroni salad and the cherry delight on your way out!

First visit. Great location, tons of items. Staff very friendly. Selections include many locally made items. Will definitely return when I have freezer space!

I purchased some sweet bologna for my brother who lives in Ohio. He received his package today a day and a half after I purchased it and he was delighted. Thank you so much Nancy 💗 he was so happy.

Such a large variety of meats. And you can get cuts made to order. Friendly family business. Always have weekly specials and they sell bulk meat bundles, usually at lower price per pound. Great way to fill up your freezer.

We always got our Easter ham here growing up. (Im in my early 60s) The BEST. Just moved back to the area from TX and loaded up on ham, ham loaf, ham salad, smoked sausage, and tring out a sausage-stuffed mushroom. They even got me some Rocky Mountain Oysyers many yrs ago. It's SO good to be back near Groffs!

Lots of counter staff, so even though they were busy we didn't have much of a wait. We stop here whenever we're in Elizabethtown. Great meats!!!
Update: Not quite as busy as we usually find, so we didn't have much of a wait to be served. They were out of the smoked pig ears we like to get for our daughter's dog, but we got our usual ring bologna and scrapple. Love what we buy here!

One of the Best butcher shops in Lancaster County

They are the best! I buy their meats at the Amish Country Store down in Largo, FL. Their Hickory Smoked Bacon is fantastic, as well as their Sausages, and Sweet Baloney Sticks. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the products. Groff's is the best!

Great place to buy meat and suet. Very friendly and helpful. Sell items you don't find in a grocery store.

I have never set foot inside, but I have called them on the phone and had others pick up meats for me. Fantastic quality and helpful on the phone. The bacon, ham, and hot sausage I've had have been OUTSTANDING. I live in NJ and I am planning a trip to York soon... around going HERE on my trip! YUM!!!

They have the freshest meats and cheeses. They also have some homemade salads such as chicken salad which they make its delishes !They will cut your meat and steaks , chicken how you like it.They also have grocery and frozen items as well. You must stop in and check them out...always get great fresh steaks ..they butcher themselves.
