Lots of good local lancaster County products.... everything we had we have enjoyed. We found some unique soda flavors and they are delicious. Very nice place something for everyone

Zook's frozen chicken pies are among the best (in my humble opinion)! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The store has a selection of other treats and prepared foods, but I think the chicken pies are what the patrons seem to want the most. The frozen pies are very easy to reheat at home and certainly taste like the homemade ones made by Lancaster County relatives.

Nice selection of desserts, seasonings, and canned foods, delicious home made chicken corn noodle soup and the famous Chicken Pies ! (Sausage and beef pies also available). Different varieties of chocolates and more. Great place to grab dinner and dessert to take home.

This is not a restaurant, it is a store that specializes in pies to take home, but has other local food as well. Their chicken pies (I've always heard them called "pot pies", but that term in Lancaster refers to a chicken soup with huge noodles) come fresh or frozen in different sizes, and the price is well worth the trip! They also have dessert pies, baked goods, and canned goods. They do take.credit cards.

When we are in the area, I love stopping in this store. Although they are known for their potpies and you can also purchase them at other local stores. This is their main location and they have plenty of other homemade options. On this visit, we picked up some chicken croquettes. They come frozen (as do their other dishes), but they heated up quickly in the oven (about 20 minutes) and were delicious. There are fun assortment of baked goods that change seasonally (pumpkin whoppie pies are now available). Also, take home a couple of jarred items (pickles, fruit butters, jams, etc). Or some of the locally made candy. The choice is yours but you won't be disappointed.

The chicken pot pies were the most delicious I've ever had. I also had beef Sheppard pie..scrumptious!!, potato soup and tomato soup..so delicious!! I wish they had online orders. I will definitely get enough to last until our next yearly trip.

Small shop that bustles on any day it is open. Love all the POT PIES! Buy them and stock up on them if you are from out of state!

Snacks rotate and the breads are awesome!

Although it is a bit far from most tourists areas, this establishment is so worth visiting. We camp in the area frequently and always return home with several chicken pies! So delicious. Also, their apple dumplings are the best! This is a "not to be missed" place!

ABSOLUTELY delicious chicken pies! We bought 6 inch frozen to bring home. Wish we'd bought the larger ones because they were excellent. We also bought woopie pies and a half loaf of banana nut bread. We appreciated that we could buy a half loaf because a full loaf would have gone bad before we could finish it.

Let me tell you straight up, if you don’t have at least two Zooks chicken pot pies in your freezer right now…you’re living your life wrong.

Very helpful customer service, with delicious baked goods, dinners, side dishes, and other various snacks. They take credit card, and have always been very friendly whenever I’ve had questions.

My recommendations…milk chocolate buckeye candies, and a take-home chicken pot pie. Make sure you come back to this post and thank me later.

We have been buying from Zooks since they were in the old location in intercourse , great pies and other food products. A young lady who I think is a member of the family is the nicest person I have ever did business with in the area.

Always stop by to stock up on pot pies. Their soups and baked goods are also out of this world. Nice little bulk goods section too with many staples.

Zook's pot pies are delicious. Whenever we're in Lancaster County, we buy a cooler full. We keep them frozen and eat them year-round. We stopped at Zook's new location about two weeks after it opened. They now have a much larger shop with condiments, pickles, and other locally canned foods. Try it - you'll like it.

Been buying their pot pies for years, great new location and increased product inventory. Everything is delicious. This is NOT a restaurant, it's a retail store.

There are a multitude of tasty treats and meals here. I bought several canned goods and they were kind enough to give me a box made to transport glass, with a cardboard divider to keep the jars safe (and quiet) on the ride home. Everything was delicious, and there were lots of items that make nice gifts.

ok where to begin um so i was in lancaster pennsylvania for hmgs conventions and when i was there was i was so at home in my hotel i could literally fantasize about moving there to contrast to think seeing neighbors who look like they just stay at home forever and have their property deteriorate versus crazy stories of heroes like henry miller and him in california being a home owner doing paintings thinking of another was norfolk so how i heard washington dc redskins players used to later get traded to the eagles so that move but i didn't do it was just having a real good time being quite entertained

i made movies up here that are on my youtube channel

so the food is so good um i got a few things like some soups (i think last time i got frozen ham bean and chicken noodle to bring home) and some pot pies i really enjoy the amish cooking though i'd imagine if i were there full time i might get burnt out on it and have to find something new um there's lots of things in the store that looked really good like maybe homemade chips or deserts the cold arnold palmer sweet tea drink i got from the fridge really nailed it

pennsylvania is charming amish country is fun the other hang out spots are cool too like central market and southern market or what's left of tanger outlets some other noteworthy amish stuff around here would be shady maple and miller's smorgasbord

everything tastes so good respecting the amish community too their cool culture being ignorant to it but hearing there's mennonites in harrisonburg near where i am in luray so the whole network with that

a great time picking up some foods from the many choices in this affordable market

The pot pies are awesome, everything here is fresh, sweet smells as you enter. One of my favorites is the jar of sourcrout, I put that on everything. Will definitely return.

Great place to stop to get a delicious chicken pie, homebaked goods and soups. Great for Rvers to stock fridge and freezer with some easily prepared Amish cooking. Kitchen is open so you can watch them preparing the food.
