This Bakeshop is the best! All of the baked goods are freshly made. You get to taste and try Amish made baked goods. There are lots of souvenir type things for sale. The best thing is the baked goods. You must try the whoopie pies! You can also get drinks so can enjoy a snack there or take it home with you. Most of the staff are Amish and are very friendly and open to dialogue and questions. Pictures are often allowed, just be respectful and ask before taking pictures. Restrooms are located outside off the porch, to the left as you exit. Next to the parking lot there is a pen where you can view goats and chickens. Food pellets are located in a dispenser that you can feed them. If you are near Bird in Hand you should visit the Bakeshop!

Fresh pastries, pies, sticky buns, and much more. Fair prices. Feed the goats, bike ride there, or visit. Just a few minutes north of Rt 340 near Bird In Hand, pa.

Great shoofly pie. The best in this area. Period. Only my mom’s was better. Plenty of other fresh baked goods. And other foods too. Do not miss the soft pretzel truck outside. Plenty of parking. Don’t be misled by the other place with a similar name. That is a tourist trap. This is the real deal.

Excellent shop with great items. My wife purchased an Amish Cookbook and a few baked goods. I got a pretzel from the stand outside. They have a nice area to sit and watch the goats. I'll be coming back to get more baked goods

Delicious bakery in Amish country of Lancaster, PA.
We purchased chocolate chip coffee cake, whoopie pies of different variety, and several turnovers -- all were outstanding and delicious!
Kids got to feed goats 🐐 outside after store.

Love it! This place has great baked goods. The food tastes good and where I tried the shoofly pie/whoopee pie. It was very sweet!
Amish goods sold here with a pretzel stand outside. There's a small goat farm to feed as well!

This place definitely is worthy of a 5 star rating. First off do not pass up on the pretzel/ we had the sour cream and onion one and it put all other pretzels to shame. Outstanding pretzel/ best one I've ever had by far. We were looking for some gifts and wanted to try some shoofly pie. We found great gifts/ they had lawn ornaments/ windchimes/ mugs/ magnets/ toys etc... as far as baking they are really good at it/ we got the small shoofly pie(7$) it was very good and not too sweet. I got a small piece of the chocolate shoofly pie(2$) I probably should have got the whole chocolate small shoofly pie because it was outstanding and also not too sweet. It was totally different than the regular pie/ they were both vg. We also got a loaf of the cheddar bread which was soft / chewy/ cheesy and delicious. I bet it's good toasted but we are traveling and don't bring a toaster with us. I did make a sandwich using it and some broasted chicken I got from specks in collegeville/ that was good good stuff. So yeah go check out this place for sure. They have ample parking and several nice tables and benches to sit at/ you can feed the goats/ lemonade was good also from the trailer. Thanks folks even though you may never see this you did good.

I spent a lot of time choosing baked goods and canned foods. We ended up with strawberry jam, pumpkin spread and alfalfa honey. I couldn't decide what baked goods to get so I just grabbed an assortment. The bread is delicious. All the Whoopi pies (especially the pumpkin), sticky buns and shoofly pie were top notch. I highly recommend this place.

The Amish pretzels are to die for. The glider swings in the picnic area are so nice to enjoy on a warm day. Everybody very friendly and good prices but be aware of made in China items being sold that look like they may be amish made, they are not. Nice place to stop if your in the area. Woopie pies! Wow!

Nestled in the heart of the Amish farmlands sits this wonderful bake shop with fresh made Amish goodies.

Whether you go for shoo fly pie or Schnitz pie you won’t be disappointed.

Strictly takeout you can buy pretty much anything here including jams and Amish jams and souvenirs.

Check out the pretzel trailer sitting outside for a real buttery Amish pretzel. A children’s playground sits behind it.

Baked goods are delicious and worth getting the seasonal offerings if they have any left available.

Enjoy the drive and soak in the Amish county side went you visit.

We happened to be there on the 50th business anniversary celebration and it was a treat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were loads of samples and pony rides. The Apple Streusel was one of the best Ive ever had. The chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon buns, pretzel breakfast sandwich, muffins were also amazing. Great place and must visit.

We visit on every trip to Lancaster county. Love their pies, cookies, whoopie pies and especially their dinner and hamburger rolls. They also have good ice cream and will make you a shake. During the summer there is a food truck outside baking pretzels. They're also extremely helpful if there's something special you want they will make it for you, you can either call or order it while you're there and pick up the next day. Coconut cream pie is amazing. Pumpkin pie also amazing, and pumpkin custard pie is seasonal but definitely worth trying.

A go to place while I am in Lancaster. Best whoopie pies ever in many flavors. Always get a dozen. Homemade rolls are the best, along with raisin filled cookies, dipped molasses cookies, or monster cookies! Can’t go wrong with any choice you make. Popular with the tourist buses but they have plenty of products to restock so everyone can enjoy. Staff are super friendly! Will continue to return to this amazing bakery! Yum!

Best shoo fly pie and soft pretzel! I am thrilled to find out that they also accept online orders. It's a cute little shop on a large property with seating areas and a small petting zoo where you can sit outside enjoying the baked goods. We were here on a Fri and came back Sat again. Definitely a must-visit if you are in the area.

I have been coming here since I was a baby with my family (we visited Lancaster county every spring until I was 21). I hadn't been in well over a decade but finally got to visit on April 15th 2023. It is the same as I remember!
The bakeshop has the best baked goods anywhere in the country. My personal favorite is their pumpkin whoopie pies- they are perfectly flavored and my favorite dessert in the world. They have various other flavors of whoopie pies from chocolate, peanut butter cookie, shoofly pie, oatmeal cookie and chocolate chip cookie. They are all amazing. The bakeshop is probably best known for their shoofly pie which you can buy in several sizes from slices to mini pies and full size. There are also breads, seasonal pies, cookies, etc.
They have a great assortment of canned goods-jams, salsas, sauces, etc. Many bulk ingredients too like molasses and spices. There are also lots of gift and garden items for your home. The employees are wonderful-always friendly and eager to serve.
Overall this place is amazing and a must stop in Amish country. It is one of my favorite places to visit.

This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in the back roads of Lancaster County. I love coming here for the dinner rolls, cream cheese chocolate cupcakes, whoopie pies, and cinnamon rolls. While it can be very busy during the tourist season, it is otherwise a very peaceful place with very friendly employees. There's even a small pen outside where you can feed goats.
