Update!!!

They will be closing their business on May 27, 2023
The business is for SALE!

This is a wonderful little gem hidden in the countryside of southern Lancaster county. Nothing fancy about this bakery, but the cream filled donuts are a delight! Most bakeries skimp on the cream filling inside the donut, but Sadie's doesn't. They provide plentiful amounts of filling which makes their donuts outstanding! In addition to the donuts, they sell freshly baked breads and a variety of cookies. They prepare a variety of different treats during the holiday seasons. They are not open every day, please check their store hours before you make your journey to heaven!

One would pass by this little hidden gem of a place thinking that it is just another random building beside a Pennsylvania Dutch Farm. However, its simplicity belies the tasty treats and warm welcome within. They are very welcoming to cyclists and it's always a joy stopping in for their freshly baked and reasonably priced treats.

This bake shop is off the beaten path and in a beautiful country setting in Quarryville. A real bare bones bakery. We got several types of whoopie pies and donuts. They were amazing. You will be greeted by a a couple of amish women who are scurrying about and working hard. Not only a great bakery but a very REAL Amish experience. Great prices too.

GPS took us right down the windy road to Sadie’s delicious bakery! There’s a large variety of donuts plus cinnamon buns, fruit pies, cheesecake, and cookies fit to please all! First time will not be the last!

Sadie's is in an Amish family's home basement lit with gas lamps. It is a quaint place to visit in Lancaster County. They are closed Sunday and Wednesday and only take cash. Sadie's has the most amazing donuts, but only on Friday. They have pies, whoopie pies, cookies and seasonal items like pumpkin rolls.

This is a bakery that is in the basement of the Woman's home! Everything is wonderful!! We have been going there for years. You can get doughnuts, sticky cinnamon buns, shoefly pies, pecan pies, funny cakes, apple dumplings, cookies, homemade bread, etc. Ect. The only thing is she bakes the most things on Fridays. She does not have the big variety during the reat of the week. It is a little tricky to find since it is on the winding roads of the Amish land.

Strawberry pies to die for. You'll have to wait until June and strawberry pie season and die then. They were out of strawberry pies once when I was there, so her daughter went out and picked them from their field and they made me a couple pies on the spot. Came back in a half hour and picked them up. That was one unique experience I will never forget. It's well worth it to go there just to see a bakery that operates without electricity, but of course, buy something.

Easy to find using Google maps. There's a sign in the driveway leading you to the bakery around the side in the basement. Went there the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they had an assortment of pies and pastries.

We stop here every visit to Lancaster. As a child I we went to her mother's bakery just down from the campground we stayed at. So glad we found the bakery when they moved. A must go to.

It's not in the basement anymore. It's above ground outside in the garage. What used to be a garage I guess. Very good products
