The BBQ Barn

One of the best BBQ places we've ever been to! The chicken was juicy and well flavored, the coleslaw was great and the potatoes were melt in your mouth! The soft pretzel was one of the best I've ever had; soft and warm with the perfect amount of salt! And the lemonade was perfectly balanced between sour and sweet. It is outside seating, which adds to the BBQ feel.

We discovered this place by accident and it was well worth it. Pretzels are truly the best ones I have had in Amish country. Food was excellent and will fill you up. And you get a Whoopie pie with a platter for dessert.

Fast and delicious. They accept credit cards and my pork bbq dinner was awesome! Cute picnic tables you can take a minute to sit and eat at. The pork was really good didn’t try the whoopie pie that came with my dinner too full. Saving it for later. Sits right to the side of target.

The Amish Farm and The BBQ barn are right next to each other (next to Target). We had the half chicken and it was so good. ($6.50 for half chicken meal with potatoes and coleslaw. )

Come here for a very good BBQ. We love the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. If you want a full rack of ribs, they have that too! (Better be hungry) You can eat in or out the park/farm area. Diffenitely a must stop for me.

Came here for the first time for lunch while taking our dog to get groomed at PetSmart and it was SO GOOD! The food was very reasonably priced and delicious (especially the pulled pork)! Every meal comes with your choice of meat, cole slaw, bbq potatoes, bread, a whoopie pie and a drink and my husband and I both got meals and it was only $22, with leftovers to each take home. Definitely will make coming here a regular thing and absolutely recommend!

The best bbq and the best people in the world. We drive 50 miles for the pulled chicken dinner! The potatoes are sublime.

Never disappointed here. With the service, food, or otherwise. Meat is always tender and fresh. (Easily falls off the bone good.) Staff is friendly as well. My husband and I have been constantly recommending this place to family and friends. If you're reading this and haven't visited the BBQ barn yet go there.

I strongly recommend this place. Check the website to make sure they are open. As with all Amish owned, operated businesses, they are not open on Sundays.

The apple 🍎 cider milkshake was the BEST.

I was at this place for Santa and goats on 12/9. Great soft pretzels while we waited.

The only way to make this place better is if they had the apple cider milkshakes in December!

Just to say... awesome bababoom experience at the BBQ BARN everyone is so helpful (is a big place) the staff is top notch 👌 a place to bring your family and friends for memories to create. The BBQ is super delicious. The dessert omg delicious. The ambient is so beautiful and peaceful. 100% recommended this place for your enjoyment and beautiful memories to make. My wife and I are locals and once again couldn't decide where to eat since its practicly all the same type of eatery area here so we decided hell let's try some BBQ chicken. So after researching the area online we found the BBQ Barn we decided why the hell not and since we rarely both agree on the same thing we headed over and oh boy did it seem questionable once we got there it was located outside behind a large local Target retail store. There was a long line but it smelled amazing there was an Amish dude cooking ribs and chicken out in the open which was very nice to watch while we waited. I wasn't ready for what happened after we got or food we ordered 3 half chickens and 3 potatoes. The chicken was fully seasoned( I mean surprisingly out of this world) it was tender and moist my wife and I will b going back for sure. Stop by if u haven't this place is truely a well kept secret u should tell everyone u know. My wife and I r spreading the word.

Excellent..I had the chicken leg and thigh, the flavor was very good, the meat easily fell off the bone, nice and moist throughout. The soft pretzel was probably the best I ever had. Will return often.

19 years living in Lancaster and my husband and I craved some chicken on grill and ommmggg food was amazing ..chicken was so tender and delicious to potato’s and pretzel 🥨 ..the peach milk shake omg. Yummm and ice cream over all if you haven’t tried it you won’t be disappointed everything was delicious

I ❤ this place! This is a must try if you are in the area. I ordered the pork dinner that was absolutely delicious; the baked potato was incredible, coleslaw so tasty and the portions exceptional. When I tasted the ribs I almost fell off my seat. The meat just slid off the bone and so juicy. That grill master is a PRO
The best ribs I've ever tasted in my life by far. I am definitely going back before I Lancaster!!!!!! The staff was so incredibly friendly and warm, this place is the bomb.

This was our first visit to Lancaster, and we are so glad we found this place. The chicken dinner was fantastic, and the pork sandwich was the best we’ve ever had. Not to mention the delicious Whoopi pies and homemade root beer. We would give it 10 stars if we could. We will definitely be back!

If we could give it 10 stars - we would! This food is outstanding. I had their barbecue chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. There was a nice perfectly seasoned grilled crust on it and very juicy. My hubby had the pulled pork sandwich— he has had pulled pork at a lot of places and he said 'this is the best'. They serve their dinners with grilled potatoes, a whoopee pie, and another side. Portions are large. A great experience and we will be back when we are in the area.

I'm so glad we found this little gem! We tried the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches and they were both yummy but I think we liked the pulled chicken just a bit better. Such a lovely atmosphere to walk past the grills and smokers that are cooking your food to get to the order window and to look out over the Amish Farm experience as you place your order. And getting 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks for $20 is a great deal too!

I'm usually pretty critical when I review something. The BBQ Barn is an absolute win. My wife had the chicken led dinner and I had the 1/2 rack. Both were cooked perfectly. The ribs were tender and meaty. They were smoked and didn't really need the sauce that comes on the side but it was great too. For me, the coleslaw was a miss. It was chopped too fine for my taste and leaned a little heavy on carrots. The only negative was the wet towelettes that come with the meal are a bit too small to clean the whoopee pie residue from your fingers. Definitely a customer for life.
