Lancaster Arts Hotel

Superior service. The 3rd party I used to book a room cancelled my reservation without ever telling me so when I arrived at the hotel there were no vacancies. Without any obligation to help me, Lancaster Arts Hotel found accommodations for me at a comparable hotel nearby, covered the hotel cost, and even helped me get a refund from the 3rd party booking company! They will absolutely be my first choice next time I'm in Lancaster!

I WANT another reason to stay here! Such a cool hotel! Loved the building and decor. Room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and I got the feeling that THEY were proud of their hotel. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Grabbed dinner at the Thai place next door for dinner, and some coffee at Mean Cup in the morning, and both were steps away and great.

Upon arrival one would think they are in a sketchy part of town. After being lucky enough to find a parking spot in the tiny garage, my expectations were instantly lifted once we entered the building. Not only visually appealing but also had a very pleasing aroma.
There is plenty of artwork from local artists on all the walls to match the modern look of furniture and random metal doors and brick archways.
Bed was very comfortable with the exception of these random metal rods sticking out of the frame. Careful not to stub your foot.
Overall pleasant. We ordered DoorDash for dinner and the front desk attendant brought it to our room. Great and friendly service

True to its name, the Lancaster Arts Hotel has the work of local artists throughout the lobby, hallways and guest rooms. There is even a sketchbook in the room to inspire your inner artist. This boutique hotel has exposed brick, revealing its former incarnation as a tobacco warehouse. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is included. I greatly appreciated the free covered parking, considering how hot it was when I visited Lancaster. Good restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel (see my review of Sukhothai).

Everything was great! The only oddity was that the waiter in the very fine restaurant told us that we could not get breakfast in the hotel or sign for the meal with the hotel account. It was not a problem, but it seemed like the hotel and the restaurant were hostile toward each other, Strang, since the two are housed together and should complement each other.!

We were there to look at F&M and believe me if my son ends up going there I will be booking at once for the school year coming up!

Love this beautiful hotel in walking distance to F&M and plenty of dining. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious with plenty of amenities. Outstanding service. Free breakfast downstairs was fantastic!

Beautiful hotel right in downtown Lancaster. The room was clean and stylish with a large bathroom. Continental breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow a gorgeous hotel from a renovated warehouse. Was magical the lobby was gorgeous and the staff friendly and kind. So much art everywhere could have spent hours as though it was a gallery. The courtyard was decorated for Christmas and there was a light show in the distance so it made for a very romantic atmosphere. Generous breakfast and generous checkout time. Would 100% stay again if in the area. Passes to Y across the street was a bonus as well as the rose and chocolates.

Nice historic hotel, large rooms, and a good restaurant associated with it. It's located within easy walking distance of the downtown area.

The hospitality here is amazing. The rooms are clean, and the staff went above and beyond to care for our team and provide us with 18 rooms.

Hotel is beautiful, brick everywhere. Tall ceilings, large bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful. Wish it was closer to downtown.

A beautifully appointed hotel that was nestled away from major hustle and bustle. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed just one night and loved it! We noticed the small special touches like Saratoga water next to the bed, candies and a rose left at the door when we returned from dinner, wine fridge, lovely art, cool lamps, etc. The bed was very comfortable with fresh crisp linens. Great AC on a hot day. It’s a refreshing change from chain hotels that all have the same cold vibe. Location was good for walkability. I’d return. I kinda missed having a fridge in the room to store my leftovers from dinner.

This hotel is a piece of ART. A must see and stay.

Great value, cool decor. They have bikes you can borrow but they don’t look like they’re in great shape. A lot of places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Held an event here and stayed at the hotel. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service was FIRST CLASS. The rooms are precious and unique. Will definitely host again at the Lancaster Arts!

Our company had out of town employees who needed accommodations for a 3 day conference in Lancaster City. I worked with Penny and she was amazing! I had last minute additions and had to call her cell in the evening, she eased my mind and was able to assist. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and classy elegance. I highly recommend this hotel.

My 3 grown daughters needed a time out. I did too.
We explored Lancaster all the way over to Mount Joy. There's small shops there we wanted to check out. We're all embroiderers. We relaxed at the hotel and did some sewing. Walked around and checked out the artwork. Was well worth the 2-hour drive east for me and West for the girls. Thank you
