Holt True Value Lumber

My go-to lumber store. Built my house, and around 75 percent of house supplies came from Holt. Special ordered a lot of items they all came in quick. Very nice staff.

I typically avoid Carbondale at all costs (no offense to the GOOD people that live there) but Holt Lumber is a hidden gem that will keep me coming back. Very friendly and helpful staff and a wide variety of items in stock.

Don’t bother taking the trip to Home Depot or Lowes. Support the little guy! Support Holt Lumber! They’ll probably have what you need!

Most guys are very nice to work with, and seem like they genuinely appreciate the business. Prices on lumber and concrete are also very fair. I used to use New Milford hardware exclusively but they have gone down hill on prices big time. They blame it on covid inflation but they used to always beat home Depot on price while they are opposite now. These guys beat them too and service is nicer. I'm glad I found another local hardware store I can use

Great local hardware and lumber supply store. Pricing for lumber and building materials is often in line or better than the big home improvement stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. The building materials themselves (especially the lumber) is often in much better shape and of higher quality as well. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

They had what I needed and help me find it and offered advice. Very friendly service. Saved time by not going to the big box stores and having to wonder around the store and trying to find someone to help me.

Unlike the warped ones at the big box stores, the 2 by 4's are straight as an arrow here. Save yourself time and headaches and buy your lumber at Holt. Customer service is excellent, if you're having trouble finding something the guys will walk you right down the aisle and show you where it is.

Holts is probably this area's best stocked hardware/lumberyard. Offsteet Parking is a breeze. Pricing is competitive and service is more than acceptable. If you need something, almost anything, Holts has it

I don't know what these people are talking about. Prices too high? Price lumber compared to Lowe's or HD. They'll be less every time. I've gotten nothing but excellent advice and assistance every time I've gone in there.
