The Loading Dock Bar & Grill

We’ve never seen this place not busy. Always a full house. Generally there is a slight wait. It’s a popular place for many who love large servings and a great price. The menu is full of many choices from soups, salads, wraps, and entrées. There’s something for everyone.

The Loading Dock staff, food and prices exceeded any and all expectations. The staff was professional and friendly. Just like the other reviews mentioned, of you're a regular, they take time to say hello. The food portions were huge and the total price of our meal was less than any meal on our entire month-long trip. Would totally recommend this restaurant and would definitely be back here if we're ever in the area again. Thanks so much to all the staff.

My family and I ate there today for lunch. The staff was the nicest wait staff we have encountered in a long time. From the owner who seated us, the waiter who waited on us and the man who delivered our food. All incredibly nice. The food was excellent. Came out hot fresh, and everything we had was delicious. The spicy ranch wings were flavorful and crispy. The chicken cheese steak was packed with flavor. The burgers were cooked exactly how we like them. Fries were hot and tasty. I could go on, but you'll just have to go see for yourself! 10/10 recommend. We will be back next time we are in town.

The experience was pleasant, the service was awesome. Hands on but not too hands on. Didn't ask too many questions but made sure to keep her eye on our table. Really efficient and kind.

The food portions were huge! And for such a good price. The salad and the dressing was fantastic. I tried the prime rib Caesar wrap my husband got and loved that too. The flavors really popped. It was pretty busy on a Saturday but I'd stop in again if given the chance!

I've been going to the LD for many years. If you like tap beer, this is the best in the area. The food is always amazing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very clean and the staff go above and beyond for customer service. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Sometimes, you may have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for a table but it's well worth it.

Absolutely fantastic!
A little slow to greet, but the food made up for it. From the starter wings to the fresh garden salad to the full rack of ribs, not one item was disappointing. I strongly feel that this restaurant is under pricing its menu. They could likely charge 50% more. They charge $7.75 for 10 wings, I would gladly pay $11. The ribs at $17.75, they are easily worth $25 or $26. This is a must eat establishment. If I am I the area again, I will be stopping in here for sure.

We were in Dunmore for our uncle's funeral, live in New York, and were recommended this place. So glad we were, best food ever! Might have to take some road trips back to Dunmore just to eat. Thank you for the great food and wonderful service. Highly recommend!!

Everyone needs to eat at the Loading Dock!! There is nothing you won't like. Every item on the menu is delicious. The service is amazing!!! The staff are all so kind, they all remember your order without writing it down, and they go above and beyond for the customers. The food comes out super quick, it's fresh and so good. The portions are so big too. I have never been disappointed here. The ambience is nice too and they have a great bar. Trust me, you need to go eat at the Loading Dock!

Went for lunch, nice atmosphere, very clean. Prices were okay, service was very good...food was good especially the signature salad with chicken - enough for 2 meals, very good onion soup. I was very impressed with the homemade pierogi 🥟.

Great place!!..its tucked away, no windows, private. The food we ordered came out fast and fresh and hot!.. the waitress kept checking on us which I like. The owner went around asking everyone if there was anything he can do for them. I'll go back definitely!..

The food is always exceptional and I guarantee you it’s worth the wait. The wings are always juicy and crispy. I have an excellent beer selection facility as always clean and accommodating. It’s a great local owned restaurant.

I have been wanting to go here for over a month and so glad we went. I know I was not disappointed in the food or service! Our waitress was great and the food was spectacular!! I highly recommend anyone in the area to come here!! I cannot wait to go back!
For those wondering what we ate, we ordered the lobster tail/steak dinner and the appetizer platter with the pierogies, dill pickle spears and wings. The drink our waitress recommended for me was the blue snowball! Oh my one of the best drinks I have ever had! My significant other had a coors light. Definitely a great place for date night or getting together with friends! To be honest no I would not bring kids not because it is not family friendly but more because the atmosphere in my opinion would be more for adult relaxation and time together. We will be coming back as often as we can!

Fish & Chips...so good! All white Haddock - no dark spots! And I can't forget the French Onion soup!!! Went with 7 people and that is what 5 of us ordered. Believe me you won't be disappointed! The staff was quick and friendly! It's a busy place and worth any wait time.

Found this little spot. It was amazing food was excelent! Cant say enough about it. We are from out of state and plan on going there again when we visit! I had the ribs and chicken and the ribs literally melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes are perfectly seasoned, chicken was excellent flavor and the portions are big!

The place is always busy but it was super busy yesterday. There were mobs of people waiting to get in from before we arrived until after we finished. They somehow never get flustered and keep dishing out food and turning tables. Nice bar, good food, excellent service.

EVERYTHING on their menu is awesome! Service is always fast and friendly! The place is clean but can get noisy sometimes. Tip: closer to weekends plan on arriving early for dinner. By the time 5 p.m. rolls around there is quite a line! They do not take reservations. I must say it is worth the wait, though!

I have eaten here many times, and there is not a bad dish on the menu. The food is excellent and the service is fabulous. Even when I take out, everything is top notch. This time I ordered the stuffed chicken breast wrapped with bacon with a vegtable medley and Seafood Bisque.

I would recommend my family and friends from Mississippi to come here the the service from the front of the house to the back of the house is awesome! They have learned how to make 2 new drinks because of me! Thank you so much! I will be coming back!

Update: Came here again, so I gotta update my review. This place is awesome! Manager is super nice, he told us such appetizer would feed both kids. Portions are very large here. I got the grilled steak Caesar salad and some hot wings. The hot garlic wings are amazing. The staff is so friendly here you feel like you almost know them. My friend was eating wings and the waiter/manager noticed that he didn't have a bone plate and quick grabbed him on. 25% tip. Will be back.

Great food! Loved the Atlantic Salmon platter... Plenty of flavor! The steak salad is also quite delicious, with lots of big chunks of strip steak in it! The buffalo chicken salad is also really good, and they didn't overdo the buffalo sauce like a lot of places do. The seafood bisque is so thick and delicious that you almost can't finish the large portion size that they give you. Almost. The appetizer is the same size as the side, which is huge.
The downside is that the wait can get a little long for your food, and the wait time can be extremely long to even get into the place. Definitely will be going again!

Amazing menu and great tasting food. Awesome beer line-up on tap. Great servers and bartenders. I had the Susquehanna Orange beer and an Italian Sausage Hoagie (half gone in the picture). I'm GLAD I bypassed a typical fast food joint on the road and found this place. I'll find an opportunity to come back!
