I recommend trying the pink stuff, it's delicious. Everything I have tried has been great and the best empanadas I have ever had.

I first noticed this spot last wk and so wanted to try it, it all looked good but today I really wanted to try the half chicken. Omg delicious the box must have weighed five lb delicious beyond huge the breast may have been bigger than my own.i also loved the rice . But what really stuck put was how they so went above and beyond to make it happen .they just opened my son wanted to surprise me but could not find it on any delivery app.sge worked with my son they chose an app she told him what to order wing dish I think took my name and told him she wpuld male sure I got half chicken and not wings.
The food was delicious but for a restaurant just ope in for the day to take numerous calls and help my son make my order possible was so beyond amazing,I truly can't thank them enough 😊 I can not weight to try other items on there menu

I have lived in over 8 states and this is by far the best food I've ever had. I can taste the passion in the cooking here. I hope everyone reads my review and tries out Papis Kitchen. I can tell love is put into this food. The Mac n' Cheese is so good you have no idea! Those empanada's are by far the best I've ever had. Does anyone realize how hard it is to make good rice? The rice is so tasty! Please everyone in the area of Scranton, go and try this place. You won't regret it!

And in store it's cheaper
From now on I won't be buying unless I go into the store

Living next to this place will be the curse to anyone’s diet. The smell of the food wafting into my house on a daily basis is crippling to my wallet. If you haven’t tried Papi’s food I highly recommend that you place an order or stop down and visit him. This man takes so much pride, and put so much passion into all of his work and his food. Genuinely a great place to come and eat.

Great spot! Family owned, food was really great and they were kind enough to let us use their restrooms when we found ourselves lost in the middle of Scranton. Also, the Mac n cheese empanadas were incredibleeee. Thanks for the hospitality and great food.

UPDATE after months of working with this business. HIRE THEM FOR YOUR EVENT. The food is fabulous, and Gabriel has been amazing every step of the way. He genuinely cares about his customers and their events, whether that's a big wedding like ours or your take-out workday lunch. We couldn't be happier, and we wish we could recommend him a thousand times over.

Very reasonable prices, good PR food. Limited menu the day I went because owner had a health issue with his dog, but I enjoyed the stewed chicken and rice and peas. I hope to return and try some of the good stuff!

I've been going to this restaurant since it opened and I have never been disappointed. Some of the best food you can get in this area, and the price is way more than fair. Try the bacon beef and cheese empanadas, you won't regret it a bit.

This place is amazing! Its nice to have something different in the southside and feel comfortable like its being made in your own kitchen. But without having to clean up the mess! Great prices great tastes. I love all the empanadas. The buffalo isnt so spicy that u cant taste it. The pepper steak with rice amd beans is my favorite. My man loves the chicken & cheese empanadas and well, we live it all. Great prices and lots of food. 1 meal fed us both and we were stuffed and satisfied! Great hospitality!

We ordered for dinner. The baked Mac and cheese was delicious. Well cooked and seasoned. With the BBQ chicken. Once again well seasoned and cooked. Everything was moisture far from dry. Delicious. With a side of rice and beans. Everything was well done. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be eating from papi’s kitchen.

Best empanadas WOW!! And the stewed chicken was delicious. Really it was so good I would be there everyday. I can't wait to try the pepper steak !!!

It's good but man that Mac cheese sits there for a long time it's just warm when I buy it and the cheese gets really hard and chewy from sitting so long even after it's warm it used to be in a bigger size it seems like they're making it smaller and smaller every time I go.

Love this place! Havent had a bad experience yet! Very kind welcoming amd the food is AMAZING! Recommend for passers by or for any meal or party! Empanadas are made with TLC and the prices are great!
