Peanut Bar

The Peanut Bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Carbondale. It's the "go to place" if you're looking for something to do or a good crowd to hang out with. The staff and bartenders are very kind and personable. Also, the Sweet and Spicy burger is one of my menu favorites. It has candied jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, frizzled onions, and hot honey sauce on it. Get it with the hand cut fries and it is perfection! I highly recommend stopping in here and trying the food or any of their specialty drinks. I might have to go tonight because now I am thinking about the burger after writing this review. Haha. If this isn't for you, then take a short walk to the Cashew Lounge right behind it.

After a disappointing 45-minute wait at another restaurant with no service, our family was treated like VIPs by the heartwarming staff at Peanut Bar in Carbondale, PA. Just when we thought our evening couldn't be salvaged, having already packed the kids into the mini van, a kind waitress noticed our dilemma and ran out to welcome us in. Our initial impression was that they were closed for a private event (which looked like one heck of a party, we will be looking into their catering services too!). She informed us that they indeed had a space that was perfect for us❤

We were given a cozy booth at the back of the bar where we felt seen and heard. The food, of course, was nothing short of amazing—each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. What truly made our experience memorable was the exceptional service. The owner himself made rounds, ensuring we were more than just taken care of—**we were treated like family**.

The wait staff went above and beyond, their sweetness and patience with our young children didn't go unnoticed. They engaged in little conversations and activities that kept the kids entertained, showcasing their authentic family-friendly environment.

In a world where dining out with kids can be challenging, the Peanut Bar stands out as a beacon of warmth and exceptional service. We left with full bellies and even fuller hearts, knowing we've found a gem where the food is great, and the people are even better. 1000000/10

I haven't been in this bar for probably 15yrs and decided on a last minute decision to stop in with my friend. I gotta say the place looks great. We did feel old vs. the crowd. We being in our 40's and crowd 30's. It was however nice to see the place bustling. I wish I could have went in the gorgeous Cashew Lounge, but it was closed.

I’ve had the best time and incredible pub style food in the Peanut Bar!!! The Wings are AMAZING, with a great variety of sauces to choose from! Mondays and Wednesdays also have some great specials and sauce additions to try! Garbage wings are the town favorite, but I can’t get enough of the Hot Honey or Honey Garlic! The Burgers are great too! All made to order, never pre-cooked, and served with delicious House-made Chips (or you can substitute almost anything)!
Oh…. And the Beer Cheese…. I could eat it on just about anything, and luckily you can get it on just about everything! You can even try out the Cashew menu if you want something different.

The staff creates a down to earth, friendly atmosphere too. The drinks are GREAT and well priced… so not breaking the bank!
Definitely a great stop to watch the game, spend time with friends, or Take-out after a hectic week!

I just wanted to give our local restaurant some props..they never disappoint. The staff is so friendly, personable and attentive right up to then owner. Food is spectacular, my favorite is the garbage wings. Always have a great game on the TV to watch. If anyone wants a great place to have good food have alot of laughs.. the Peanut Bar & Cashew Lounge is definitely a must!

Awesome service, good, customer service, and staff. Amazing every time. Lisa is awesome in the bar and always attentive to every single detail. Murph is a great personality and I would recommend the place to anyone. Mike the owner will take care of any question or concern you have. Love this place!!

Peanut Bar has become a favorite place for us to dine in and get take out. I love the fried cheese curds as an appetizer, and always order the delicious crab cakes for my dinner. My husband orders either the generously portioned pork chop, or the amazing burgers. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very cheerful and has a unique design. The new addition of the Cashew Lounge is fantastic and we like it for family get togethers.I recommend!

Every time I'm there the service is fantastic. The staff is so friendly and a lot of fun. Absolutely love the food!! I attempt to try all the new items on the menu but still can't help going back to my favorites as well!!

This was our 1st time here, we went for the pizza and wing special. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend the beer cheese with fries. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back

Peanut bar is one of our go to places. The staff are the best, the atmosphere is awesome and the food is DELICIOUS. Definitely try the egg rolls. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a cold drink or a bite eat.

Never had a bad meal here. Whether it’s the wings, the pizza, a sandwich, or the burger mania winning burger, you can’t go wrong. Friendly staff, great service, great food, reasonably priced. and travels well for takeout. (Not to mention one hell of a trivia night)

Food was amazing. Wings were big and crispy and lots of flavors to choose from. Best chicken cheesesteak in the area. The staff was friendly and quick. Made you feel right at home.

I go to this amazing establishment at least 2-3 times a week. I try so much on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. From the friendly staff to the food could not be more perfect. I will continue to come back.

The Peanut Bar is a Carbondale staple. An easy environment to walk into and be greeted by the friendliest staff that makes you feel at home. The food, you can tell, is made with love…it gets better and better every visit. They have awesome food and drink specials every week, and a good crowd on the weekends along with karaoke/bands.
The new Cashew Lounge that opened this year is not only eye appealing but offers a new variety of foods and has fun specialty martini and margaritas. It definitely doesn’t feel like you’re dining in carbondale. I will be returning!!!

A must have for great wings. Garbage sauce is like no other. Friendly and attentive staff. I have never had a bad meal there.

Great meal with friends tonight! Everything was amazing, we live not too far away and this was our first visit. We will be returning and sharing with more friends to encourage them to visit. Great job, keep doing what your doing.

We went to the new Cashew Bar in the back of the Peanut bar. Great service and food. Drinks were amazing. Bartenders and waitress were quick to make sure we had full drinks and to check in. Great place.
