The Prescription Center

We are so fortunate to have The Prescription Center in our community. They did an outstanding job in the distribution of the Moderna vaccine. Their communication, utilizing several methods kept us informed during the uncertain times for the second vaccine. The administration of the shots was safe, efficient and very professional. Thank you all for a job well done!

Every time I need to get prescriptions for my family, the pharmacy is always very thorough and has everything ready for us when promised. I wouldn't go to any other pharmacy. Michael and his staff are amazing!

Just want to say how amazing this place is. Friendly isnt the word that even best describes the employees. They make you feel as if your family. So thankful for all that they do. Wouldnt go to any other pharmacy.

Mike and his staff are awesome. They are very professional and they always have your prescription ready in a timely fashion.

If you need help getting a prior authorization from you insurance company; they will help you and talk to the doctor and get the two parties communicating.

I love it at the Prescription Center b/c no matter how many times you use and go to the big chain pharmacies they never remember your name. They call me by my name there and it makes you feel like they are interested in your health and medical concerns.

Mike and his staff, always treat me with respect and dignity.

I give them all five stars, I haven't had a bad experience in his pharmacy, yet.

Mike at the Prescription Center also carries a wide variety of vitamins. I believe any vitamin you are looking for, The Prescription Center will have in the store. No waiting, no ordering.

The Prescription Center did an amazing job organizing both vaccination events. The communication before, during, and after was first rate. Both appointments were managed impeccably by the friendly and courteous staff taking less than 20 minutes each, including the 15 minute post vaccination waiting period.
I would nominate The Prescription Center to run the national vaccination campaign!

Absolutely love this family owned and operated pharmacy, a staple in the Scranton community. They make filling prescriptions easy and provide the best advice. They have stepped up in the era of covid regarding vaccination roll out, assisting so many in our community to receive a safe and timely immunization. So grateful.

I was so "thrilled and relieved" to receive BOTH of my Covid-19 Vaccine "Jabs" (as the Brits call Shots), so efficiently provided by THE PRESCRIPTION CENTER. For me, it couldn't have come sooner, considering I am facing major heart valve surgery in the next month and having both "Jabs" in the rearview mirror is sure an ease to my Mind and to my Heart!

Thank You Prescription Center for providing the Covid-19 vaccine! Everyone I dealt with were professional and friendly. I was constantly updated on the status of the vaccine. The process was easy. I would highly recommend using The Prescription Center.

Mike senior is the greatest pharmacist. I have ever met. He lends a ear when u need to talk he always gives me encouraging words. Despite what may be going on with my medical issues. Or even life in general he is more than my pharmacist he is a friend.

Whoever gave these guys 1-4 stars your out of your mind. This family owned business goes above and beyond to help everyone. Name a pharmacy no money no problem. No ride to pharmacy bang delivery faster then you can blink. They make you feel like part of the family. Mike the owner the most respectable person ever hes the nicest man youll ever meet in your life.

This pharmacy gave the first COVID vaccine to my husband and me on January 29th, in a drive through at Scranton High School. In the midst of horror stories of long waits, no vaccine, etc. we were prepared for a complicated process. But it was the most well organized distribution, not even getting out of the car, we could have imagined.
Thank you to Pharmacist, Mike Ruane, his staff, volunteers from Area Agency on Aging and any others who put that first distribution together!
After keeping us updated by text, emails or voice messages regarding the second vaccine, we were notified that The Prescription Center was successful in securing the second dose for anyone who had received the first from them. On Feb. 26, right on time, we both received the second dose in the same efficient, well organized event at Scranton High.
Thank you and I will be making a trip to downtown Scranton to know more about this locally owned pharmacy!!!

Always understanding and helpful when dealing with insurance dilemmas or drs mistakes and they deliver. The boss is so friendly too. They always listen and try to fix any issues.

Absolutely love this place !!! They go above and beyond for their customers and every prescription is just as urgent as the next . Any issue I've had be it a script not called in , etc. Mike and his crew are immediately on top of it !!! I drive 30 minutes down 81 JUST to come here

Michael went out of his way to assist me and the other staff is just as personable and professional. Too bad all pharmacies locally arent like this place. Wont go to another local phatmacy ever again, where they judge you on the medications you take.

I love the prescription center! Everyone is always so nice. I love that it feels like they know me on a personal level, something you don’t get at a chain pharmacy. Oh and they deliver!
