Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Waynesburg

I am very particular about hotels and have stays in many over the past 7 years. This is the first time I felt compelling to write a review.
First let me say, for an affordable hotel, this was by far the CLEANEST hotel room I’ve ever slept in!
My entire experience was lovely. Beginning from my reservation when I had to make a change to it before I had even arrived in Waynesburg. the woman at the front desk went above and beyond to meet my needs. Everybody I encountered at the front desk was extremely friendly, cheerful and accommodating. my stay was back in February, I cannot remember the names of the front desk staff but they were great. The breakfast was fantastic. I did use a AAA discount however, it didn’t provide too much of a discount. The room is very affordable. But the one thing I have to say most impressed me was the cleanliness . good job !!!

As a Chef I focus in on the complementary breakfasts. The omelet eggs with peppers and cheese are excellent. The omelets of eggs and cheese are excellent. The scrambled egg is excellent, and the sausage they are cooked to perfection. Hard boiled eggs are cooked perfectly. Also, bacon is always thoroughly cooked, which is also excellent.
A hotel that has quality ingredients and is cooked professionally is a huge bonus to me. Their food is cooked with love. I feel that it tells how the Management, etc, cares for their guest. Hotel is very clean disinfectant it smells real nice. I truly appreciate how the hand sanitizer is throughout their hotel. They give plenty of plush bath hand and wash cloths towels. Beds are very comfortable I always have a very restful sleep. Beds are excellent quality. A huge plus!
We come into contact w staff cleaning and clerks, they are extremely respectful, kind and and helpful. I have had several conversations w Manager Jessica. She has a very professional deminer and awesome personality, she is a people person. Jessica has demonstrated her intelligence of problem solving when we needed a week stay. She's a gem, I truly appreciate her. Thank you, Management and Staff, you all keep us coming back!

Absolutely friendliest front desk staff I've ever experienced. Both checking in and checking out. Friendly housekeeping staff. Affordable price and comfortable stay. Very clean. They even provide hand sanitizer in the bathroom! Kid friendly

Convenient location, nice staff. Continental breakfast was fairly standard. Beds comfortable with pillow choices. Even a decent shower, though I had to duck under a little. I’m only 6’. Relatively quiet AC unit.

I unfortunately had to cancel my trip due to unforeseen circumstances. The general manager Jesica was immensely helpful with my cancellation. She provided excellent customer service! Thank you Jesica and the Microtel Staff!

Two people made our stay remarkable. One would be Jeff and the other Shelby. Jeff helped us with many needs we had and was the type of person you would want on the front desk.
We did have a problem with our garbage being collected for an entire day. I had stopped the person working in the hallway for towels and since she was only 2 doors down I thought she would see the garbage. But it sat there the rest of that day we left before noon and it was there the next day. We were getting ready to leave for the day so I put out the last remaining garbage can and I happened to see Jeff and Shelby (I didn’t know her name at that time) and I asked Jeff if someone could pick up our garbage while we were gone for the day. I went back into the room for a few minutes and someone (Shelby) had removed the garbage!
We did not require room service for our stay so I am pretty sure the only thing people saw at our room was our garbage.
Rooms were clean and fresh smelling. As usual we did pick up after ourselves.

My stay was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and spotless. The breakfast was so delicious. I had a great experience and plan on staying yhere again.

It's a great place for a 2-3 star hotel. The suites are spacious, the staff is fabulous, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is better than average.

First of all a place that has this many out of town workers. Their is always going to be something but saying that this place is only second to the Hampton in Waynesburg Pa. The lobby looks great when first arriving and the people are all very helpful. Place is very clean and the FREE breakfast is good for what it is. FREE. Good assortment of things. They give you free laundry detergent. This place really trys to make your stay worth your money. My room was clean and well taken care of. Beds are good and had no problems with the T.V. Will stay here as one of my first choices. If you have a issue they seem to help asap. They have a small area of things to buy. Ice cream, snacks and drinks. Even have a night they bring pizza in. As a compliment to the people staying.

I have stayed here twice in the last month while I was looking for an apartment. The staff has been very good to me and so helpful. The girls who work at night are the best! The have been very kind and have done all they can to welcome me and my family. The hot breakfast in the morning has lots of variety and is always filling. Ask for their military rate! Very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The room was a little smaller than we usually get but the space was positioned well for all of our stuff. Would definitely stay there again.

Check in is easy and we love the room. It's a little smaller than the last one we were in, but good. It's nice to have the microwave and fridge. Breakfast is a nice plus, too. We enjoy the eggs, sausage and waffles. Thank you, Microtel, Waynesburg.

The staff and facilities are excellent. We spent the night here on our way east and were blown away by how clean the hotel was and how attentive the staff were. Breakfast was provided in the firm of a grab and go bag and was definitely a nice bonus!

Room - very nice and cozy room that included a mini fridge and microwave, and all the other amenities expected. Clean!

Breakfast - surprisingly good. The typical lame egg and sausage from hotels were actually good here and the egg had cheese in the middle like a mini omlet. Other items included juices, milk, waffles, cereal, bread, and muffins.

I'd absolutely recommend this place.

Tina, the general manager, was SO helpful. My company, a asphalt road maintenance company, was in a bind. We had booked rooms at a hotel nearby that was unsuitable. Tina found a way to accommodate our guys immediately and get them into a clean hotel. She even offered to put the breakfast out early for them because they would be coming in early from an overnight job. She really went above and beyond her call of duty and we really appreciated it. The rest of her staff was just as helpful whenever we called as well.

Our guys had no complaints. They loved the hotel and the amenities. They stay away for work from about April through to almost November most years and this was one of the best experiences we have had at a hotel chain at the price we received.

We will definitely be using them again if we have to return to the area.

Hotel was very clean, nice friendly staff. Fridge, microwave, carpet, cold a.c. can't complain. Business trip only stayed a day but well done.
