Pickle Barrel

A very unique place theme around pickles and some big foot stuff. It's has 2 buildings put together so look pass the main shop. FYI theres a wall of candles in the back room with funny names but they smell great. Theres also locally made stuff in the shops. Folks running the shop are also very friendly.

After spending a wonderful week in a cabin near Cook Forest State Park, we had to stop by the Pickle Barrel! Plenty of unique pickled things in a wide range of flavors! Also, hand crafted gift items.
The new owners are very friendly, you'll have a good time if you share a story about your recent or long ago visit to the area!
We're already looking forward to our next visit!

The Pickle Barrel was a highlight of our week. The store has so many interesting items. The new owners are doing a great job with the renovations. The store flows so much better with the walkway enclosed. The booths have so many unique things that it was hard to stop myself from buying from all of them!

My husband and I came to Pennsylvania for a little weekend getaway and decided to stop here and check out their pickles. We walked out with a lot more then just pickles! This is the cutest shop I have ever seen, straight out of a Hallmark movie, the candles smell great (we got a few) and they have cute little signs and just the cutest things In there !! Definitely worth stopping here. Their prices were great for what they offer too ! Love this place so much.

Have been out this way numerous times when I lived in western Pa. I brought my daughter here and she went crazy for all the pickle stuff the place has LOL needless to say, she got everything she picked out, such the cool store !!! My parents actually met the owners to pick something up when they came to the east coast of Pa. Very friendly staff, prices are very reasonable and just the down home feel when you walk in.

Pickle Barrel was worth the wait and drive past all the other purported gift shops. The owners were so nice, options were abundant, their appreciation of local vendors is apparent and pricing was great. I walked out with gifts for my friends, children and wife. Definitely recommend the visit.

This place is awesomezthey have so many amazing things. We come by every year and always buy a lot of stuff. Recently we got an amazing table from them.

This place is super cute. A mixtures of pickles, pickles related items, crafts, and some neat flea market type finds. It's hardly open, but if you happen to get there, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing hidden jewel within the forest!! A must stop along any journey!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the owners are wonderful!!

What a great store! The pickles are amazing! Lots of options of snacks and specialty items. A ton of cute gifts and knick knacks.

So friendly. Had so much to look at. They had a lot of pickled selections. Very tasty. It is also a gift shop.

My kids and I love coming here! There’s really something for everyone, from pickle paraphernalia, candy and chocolate to craft furniture and toys. Much better than a lot of other gift shops. Highly recommend !

Such a fun store! Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area…or to even make it part of your adventure plans. The shop is clean and organized, and has treasures for anyone’s taste. The owners run the store themselves and are wonderful! So friendly and helpful. I also noticed they enclosed the walk between what used to be two buildings so it all flows together and is one cohesive store. You will not be disappointed by your time there!

Fun environment with friendly staff, quality products and tasty treats! This is a giant gift shop that anyone looking to take something home for friends and family should not pass up. Plenty of locally handmade items and food you won't find anywhere else.

What a cute place to check out while visiting Cook Forest State Park, or just passing through. It was surprisingly large for having a small country store atmosphere. We purchased a raccoon painting, a few postcards, and also a jar of pickles.

Very, very, inexpensive. Beautiful seasonal knickknacks... and yes, pickles. Pickled everything! It's definitely a place I would recommend to the decorators!

First visit to this store. Lots and lots to chose from.

Pickle items galore! Squatch items as well. So I bought pickle flavored salt for one grandson and a Squatch sticker for the other grandson.

For us we got salsa (peach and pineapple) garlic sweet pickles (yummy) and pickled mushrooms.

Folks were very friendly.

And as you can see I got my pic taken with the pickle in the barrel and hubby had his taken with Smokey the Bear!

Great place to a variety of cool things. Purchased a beautiful dining room set from here and couldn't be more pleased with it! Owner was awesome and very friendly!

Beautiful store!! Great quality merchandise and excellent customer service. Love all the different craft vendors. A must stop when you are in Cook Forest!
