Eden Vegan Cafe

Eden Vegan is some great vegan food. I had the Rocking Elvis and it was worthy of the name-so delish and packed and loaded. We started with the cheesy bread and yes you will not be able to eat just one piece. The dessert was cherry cheesecake and wow so creamy and fresh. The staff is friendly and the ambience is perfect. Prices are very reasonable. If you are in Scranton check out this gem of a restaurant.

Absolutely a gem of a restaurant. I have been coming here for what feel like forever now. Back when I became vegan I was only about 10 years old. This was the only vegan restaurant around. I was always so excited to be able to go. Stopped in today for the first time in a while. Felt like going back in time, same welcoming calm environment. I got the chocolate strawberry smoothie. It was a bit too sweet and thick for my liking. Though I did finish the whole thing lol! I also got a carrot cupcake as well as a chocolate cookie. I love that they carry vegan treats there! The staff is friendly and inviting. I look forward to their expansion of foods. Yummy yum!

Great place for vegan comfort food. Any time I'm missing the taste and texture of a super cheesy quesedilla, this is where I go -- its close enough to the real thing to quench that craving. Hubby loves the Wild Wild West burger and we both LOVE the smashed potatoes.

The smoothies/shakes are freaking delicious too.

Food was phenomenal. This was my first time EVER trying Vegan food and dessert. And let me just say this place made my transition so easy. Love the cashiers as well as the cooks personalities. I will be back soon

We stopped in here on our way through the city on a road trip. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It had a great low key vibe going on. The food was delicious. We got the BLT, meatball sub, and sampler starter. All the food was great but I recommend the ‘chicken’ or meatball sub.

Very good vegan food. Would recommend any of the wraps. The only thing I was a tad disappointed in was the fruit side option. I only got one measly tangerine. Was hoping for something a little more for the price of the meal, probably best to get chips as a side or something other than the fruit option. Otherwise, lovely place.

Only amazing! Menu is huge and definitely worth to try out. Had a wonderful vegan dinner.

Love the location. Downtown Scranton. Open when other locations are closed in between lunch and dinner. Amazing art on the walls for sale. Highly recommend.

The portion sizes were awesome and it was fresh and tasty. Vegan food has come along way in the past 15-20 years. Friendly staff.

One of the best vegan restaurants in the country. Top quality food, creative, thoughtful, and delicious. Every menu item I have tried till now has been a hit, but there are so many more!

ABC panini was best vegan sandwhich ive ever had after Hipcity veg. only my second time here since i just moved will continue to go and try other things on menu

I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful everything I ordered tasted. If I were a local resident of Scranton, I would have definitely come here regularly. I’ll be sure to stop again if I’m in the area!

My SO and I came here for our anniversary. One word: amazing! Since it's a special occasion we splurged. We started with the BBQ wings with ranch. The taste was spot on for both the wings and dressing. The texture was different than chicken, but IMO better!

After that we went back and I ordered the turkey club with cole slaw and he got the steak and cheese (mozzarella) with smashed potatoes. Considering there was one person in the kitchen the food was out FAST. It was absolutely delicious. The turkey club tasted exactly like turkey and bacon and the veggies and bread were freshhh! His steak sandwich was great. The steak wasn't too chewy the cheese was melted over the grilled onions. The smashed potatoes were warm with butter *drool* We also shared a smoothie. We had the strong monkey which was very peanut buttery and rich/creamy. A little too sweet for me though.

We obviously had to go back for dessert then too. We heard amazing things about the cheesecake on here so we got the thin mint cheesecake. With pieces of actual thin mints in it, there's nothing words can say for it. Yum. Also got a blueberry lemon cookie for later.

As you can see, we loved the food. Other than that the ambience was casual with trendy indie music. Artwork on the walls and the chef being behind glass there was a lot to look at. We sat at the bar at the window with street view. The bathroom is must see even if you don't have to "go" it's covered in vegan positive bumper stickers.

We love Eden A Vegan Cafe! The food is always phenomenal, the establishment is clean and cheerful, and the staff is friendly! We visit every time we're in Scranton. The food is so good that even non vegan folk enjoy it!

Nice vegan cafe with delicious food. Great portion sizes for a plant based diet. My carnivorous friend didn't realize the salmon wasn't real salmon.

Only suggestion is to always know what is in the food for allergies and food intolerancs even if from outside companies.

Wonderful place! We got trays of food to heat up for dinner and lunch the next day for 40 people. It was a good price and everybody loved it ranging from vegans to people who had never eaten vegan before. Loved the drumsticks, sausage and peppers and baked ziti etc. Recommend 10/10

Stopped here on a road trip up to NY. Introduced my family to some really good vegan food. This hit the spot after being in the car and they enjoyed it as well being non-vegans. Would definitely stop here next time I’m ever in the area!
