Love the talent they have here every first Friday. Great spacious gallery, they offer art classes too. First Fridays are a great thing for scranton

Amazing experience discovering the sweet pieces of pottery done by the intellectually challenged people in our area!
From diminutive tea pots to a gorgeous, 11 inch, single bloom vase, the detail and beauty of the pieces astonished me! They would make great 🎁 gifts for someone special!

Welcomed, after a quick phone call to Jeff at the number above, I had a very exciting hour or so, speaking with Alanna who is a teacher in the program, at Artworks and Jeff.

First Friday is on The Artwork’s agenda this September. After a lengthy hiatus because of the pandemic. Because of it’s lingering menace there is a controlled environment there, as these fabulous artists are also immune compromised.😟

There next exhibit in the gallery is scheduled for September and is a display of abstract paintings, done by these very talented individuals who are also the creators of the pottery!

Needless to say I’m planning on a purchase and am waiting with baited breathe for the display of the Abstract Painting by the students.
Great things are happening in Scranton, I suggest a walking tour that includes taking in the sculpture.🥰

This place has changed my life for the greater good. It has wonderful art exhibitions and it currently offers art classes to individuals with disabilities. I see joy and inspiration fill this beautiful space every day.

I have shown artwork here 3 times and every experience has been wonderful. The staff is very accommodating and the gallery space is awesome (the lighting especially).
