Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lancaster - Mount Joy, an IHG Hotel

We stayed 3 nights. The room was spotless and well stocked. The customer service was great! Everyone from the folks checking us in, answering questions, the staff in the breakfast area, to the room attendants, were fabulous! It was a quick on and off the highway and easy to access. Highly recommend their location! Note: they were fully booked the days that we were there with a lot of younger kids involved in athletic events. Even though they were full, you never would have known because the staff did that well in taking care of the facility.

Thursday to Saturday was amazing stay. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean and amazing. All the staff even down to the housekeepers were so sweet. The room was up to date and Modern. My son loved the lux lamp on the table so I’m gonna have to look into purchasing one. Aside from that 10/10. The pancake machine want in service but they had the yummy stuff so wasn’t to big of a deal for me and my son. I will definitely visit this location again. Granted it’s tourist hotel you can’t reside 25 miles from this
Hotel and that didn’t bother me because I came from states away. Love love loved Mount Joy. Property manager and front desk during the day and night were exceptional 10/10 thank you so much for having us and I will recommend this hotel to all of there ever looking for a calm clean friendly atmosphere.

The hotel was great and same with the food but the staff were wonderful. All the staff were great and very kind whether it was the people working at the front desk or managing food. I think I’m spelling this wrong but Jenay working in room service was just wonderful. She was lively friendly and very nice; she and all of the employees made my holiday in experience great.

Excellant place to stay! Pa has super great holiday inns and this one is right at the top. Super nice, helpful staff, clean rooms just as comfy as it gets for our short stay. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices and fresh! Thanks for everything!!

Have stayed here twice now. Great location for visiting Lancaster or Hershey. Enjoyed complimentary breakfasts. Front desk staff pleasant and courteous. Right on the highway as you enter Mount Joy with little road noise at night.

The doors could close a little bit quieter, all night. I heard guests door slamming throughout the hallway. A quiet closed door system would definitely benefit that

This hotel is immaculately clean! One would think it was relatively new (I did)! But this hotel has been open at least five years.

The staff is very friendly and efficient.

There is a wonderful outdoor area off the back of the lobby where you can eat your breakfast, read a book or just enjoy the sunshine.

There is a very small indoor pool.

I highly recommend this location for your next stay in the area.

Staff was by fair the best staff i have encountered at a holiday inn for sure! Really made the team feel welcomed for sure! Clean rooms, hot breakfast included. No disappointed whatsoever. The pool was working all elevators were working.

ONLY default is the walls are paper thin and you can hear people's conversations with ease.

Other than that i am so happy the managers were easily able to find and they were actively involved it was so nice to see.

We will 100% be choosing this hotel as our go to hotel when in Manheim, PA.

This is my main hotel when I have to travel to PA for work. I love this place. Clean, friendly, conveniently located. Will stay again.

Made a last minute reservation coming from Hershey. We were exhausted and did not want to drive home. Arrived late and was greeted with a smile from Raj at the front desk. Lobby was clean and quiet. Loved the quiet hour signs! Quick and easy check in we were in our room in now time! The rooms was so clean! Everything seemed so new. The halls and room still had the new carpet smell! Beds were very comfy as well. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Scrambled eggs, omelets, cereal, yogurt, juice, cinnamon buns, fruit, coffee tea! The area was very spacious and never felt crowded. Loved how it was laid out. The best part, they had little trays you could use to take up to the room! Love this property and will definitely keep this one on my list when I visit PA.

Rooms are spacious, modern and clean as is the rest of the facility. Breakfast offers a decent variety and is very convenient especially when rushing to early morning sporting events at nearby Spooky Nook. We had a last minute scheduling change and the managers of the facility were very receptive to coming up with a solution that worked for everyone. Have stayed here in the past and will continue to stay here when in the area, especially for sporting events due to hotel's location and all it offers.

One of the better budget hotels I've been too, the front desk staff is amazing, super friendly and enjoy joking around while being helpful and professional. The rooms are clean and we'll laid out with great convenience for working.

This is why I love IHG! For the price my rooms are always good. Traveling alot, I have had nothing but great experiences. This hotel conveniently located with gas and food right off highway. Outside and inside are nice. Check in was easy and fast. Free breakfast in mornings. Halls and rooms fresh and smell clean. Room was clean and modern. This is a nice IHG. Quiet as well. Great showers with good pressure.

The only problem was cold water in the swimming pool.

The place looks pretty recently updated or just really well kept. Everything is clean, everyone is super nice, no issues at all. Gym has some free weights, 2 ellipticals, 1 recumbent bike, and 3 treadmills. There are towels and disinfecting wipes available in the gym. Pool is indoors. There is also an outside fenced patio area as well. The area surrounding the hotel, however, is not walkable at all. The only sidewalk is directly in front of the Holiday Inn and just leads to the nursing home next door. Just down the road is Mt Joy, which is an adorable little town. It's worth the 11 min drive to get local coffee and not Starbucks or Dunkin, which are nearby, but I recommend local places always. There's Sheetz (gas), Taco Bell, and McDonald's across the street. Down the opposite way of Mt Joy is another town with a Walmart and plenty of restaurants (12 min drive). Looks to be around a 30 min drive to Hershey, and there are some cool looking trails nearby, though I didn't go. Beds are hotel standard. Really soft pillows (you'll probably want to use 2), more firm bed, nice fluffy sheets. Has free breakfast, heat/AC, pool, gym, laundry, ice.

We have stayed here since it opened. It is clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. Good location too in Mt Joy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay except for the last night with the soccer team that was staying there. Can't thank the manager enough for taking care of the issues.

This is the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Rooms were great, laundry was great, safe, microwave, coffee, and refrigerator in the rooms. Food was great and they had allergy friendly menu. Poo,l no hot tub, quiet and service was good.

Fabulous new hotel! Clean. Spacious rooms. Great amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff were pleasant but a little sparse. I went by the front desk 3 times and there were no staff and just a chalkboard note saying ‘be back in 8min’.
I would recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon!
