This sale is super well organized and has a great selection of children’s items for great prices. They thoroughly check the items for stains or other damage before accepting them unlike other sales I’ve shopped in the area. I have never experienced long lines here - they keep things moving as quickly as possible. If you go right at opening obviously there are going to be bigger crowds, but that’s also when you can find the best items that haven’t been picked over at all yet. I still manage to find lots of good stuff left on half off day though so I personally wouldn’t rush to be one of the first in the doors unless there’s something really specific you’re looking for. I have also consigned here in the past and signed up for helper shifts to earn a higher percentage of my sales. This was my first consigning experience and they made it so easy from start to finish! Helpers also get early entry into the sale with less crowds. I highly recommend shopping, consigning, and volunteering with onward kids!

I love this sale! It is well ran and has a great selection of all things baby and kids. As a Consignor, I love it for the easy process, great communication, and good sales. As a shopper, I love it for the great selection and prices all under one roof. I’ve been to and consigned with other sales in the area, and I always had issues with stained, overpriced items, as well as issues with consigning inventory. In my opinion, Onward Kids South is the best kids sale in the area.

I have been shopping this sale since my daughter was born which was 6 years ago! I always find great deals for both her and my two sons who are 9 and 10! I can’t wait to shop again this year! I need to get my boys some new clothes, especially since hoodies are banned in my son’s school! One more week woohoo! My favorite place to shop! Everybody is so friendly and I won’t shop anywhere else!

I have shopped at this sale for 5 years and started consigning for both sales in the Fall. 😍
Shopping: I go in ready with my list, and come out with way more than I was expecting!! There are always such great deals on so many toys, clothes, games, shoes, decor, bedding, bath, accessories!!! I’ve been so blessed to save hundreds of dollars over the years on kids items, and still have amazing quality purchases. Opening day can be busy, so enter expecting it to more crowded and longer line. But guess what, you can go back the next two days and still find amazing deals with a zero wait in line! The workers have always been so helpful with directing me where to find things, and work to keep checkout easy by loading and even offering to carry my bags to the car. I love the sales so much that I literally go back multiple times! I like the rush of opening day, then the following day seeing even more things that are uncovered. But my favorite day is the last day when most things are reduced and I get half off!!! It’s so fun because each time I see new things. I stock up for the seasons for kids, gather birthday and Christmas gifts, and have even found things for myself 😂 Could not recommend this sale enough!!

Consigning: I was a little nervous at first, but the owner, Tiffanie, makes the whole process soooo easy. She gives lots of guidance on what to sell, how to best hang, and has always answered my questions instantly when I wasn’t sure about an item. I had no idea how thorough they are with checking over the quality of clothing. They don’t accept anything with a stain (no matter how small!), holes, rips, missing pieces, scuffs, etc. They make sure the quality of items at their sale is the absolute best. I had quite a few in my initial sale marked “no thank you” (which I just love the term because it’s such a polite way of saying rejected 😅), but it helped me learn how to check over my clothes carefully. The workers explained each time when I asked about an item, and even offered to help remove some marks that could come out, or re-pin outfits to save the pieces that were okay and take out the ones with a mark. They gave advice on how to hang clothes to better sell my items and were so encouraging since it was my first time. As a consignor you automatically get 65%, but you can sign up for helper shifts to get additional percentages of your sales. There’s a limit at first so everyone has a chance to claim the helping shifts you want, and then the remaining shifts are opened for unlimited. I was able to earn nearly all of my sale money back by putting in the hours as a helper. It also taught me so much about the sale, the quality of items, and the kindness of the people working/helping there. Consigning is an awesome way to earn back money from the things you’ve invested in for your family! But I like to think of it as a way to earn money to spend at the sale on more things for the kids!! 😂 Oh and you also get your check in record time! If you’re on the fence about consigning, do it!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Overall, I love the sale, love the items, love the people, love love love!!! ❤❤❤

Picture of me doing it all: tagging 750 items, 35+ hours of helping, selling over $1,300 worth, all while 8 months pregnant!! If I can do it, you can too!! And my Mommy and I, consignment sale besties who love to shop together, smiling so big at our awesome deals on 50% day 👏🏼

I love shopping at the sale. It has been great getting the kiddos stuff they need. The check out is sometimes long, however, this is expected and understood since I try to go during the early part of the sale. It is run great.

Since I found out what my last child's gender was, I have been consigning with Onward Kids( was Ur Sweet Repeats then). I always get a nice check as a consignor. I try to sign up for as many helper shifts as I can to help the % back. It's a fun and rewarding hobby for clearing out the old and making room for the current sizes and choice of toys for my kiddos.

I absolutely love attending the consignment sales! This one in particular is closer to home. I love the variety of clothes and the organization of the different categories of clothes, toys, and accessories!

Onward stole $30 worth of my items: they rejected them, didn’t let me see what items were rejected, didn’t let me keep them (due to a donation policy I had not agreed to and was not aware of), and then failed to record them on my donation report. When I brought this to the owner’s attention, she didn’t do anything.

I spent hours and hours preparing to consign at this sale, only to make $60 on $300 worth of inventory (and to have $30 worth of that stolen). When I attended the sale, the aisles were so narrow that I couldn’t get to all the sections I wanted to shop in. The check out was so slow that I had to stop shopping after 10 minutes in the hopes that I would make it to my next commitment on time, but I was in line for 45 minutes (this photo is from my place in line after 15 minutes).

I (and others) would have spent far more money at the sale if it had been managed better.

I am beyond aggravated with this experience as a seller and a buyer. I will not be consigning at or attending any future Onward sales, and I will encourage my friends and family not to as well.

EDIT: The donation policy should have been explained when I signed up or logged my clothes—not at drop off when it was too late to change my selection. Also, every item that I donated should have been recorded on my donation receipt—it was not. What happened to those clothes? Did you sell them yourselves?

As far as check out speed, I saw you, the owner, chit chatting while running the cash register and people were waiting, and your “hold” person got everyone’s bags confused so it took forever. It was not a matter of low staff—it was poor management. I’m just saying, work out the kinks, be honest, and take responsibility here.
