Deckers Bows & More

Having grown up hanging around my grandfather's archery and taxidermy shop I have pretty high expectations of what I want to see in a pro shop and I was not disappointed! I went in to get my son set up with his first bow and they were terrific. Found a bow that was great for him, not just a great bow. They took the time to make sure it was the right fit, to make sure the release was the best for him and fit with the bow. Customized shafts, a hip quiver and few shots at their indoor range and my son is hooked. Meanwhile, I'm looking for a bowstring for a vintage 70's bow and it's a no-go. Not to worry though. The owner drops everything to custom build a string by hand old school style and it's shooting beautifully. I'm sold on their quality of service, their understanding staff and the personal attention they dish out to make sure their customers are happy. I'll be coming back again and again. Told a friend who's an avid shooter and he says "Of course I go to Decker's. They're the best!" Wish I'd known sooner.

One of the last old school archery shops!!! In an era where the internet rules the world of sales, these guys offer things you can't get online. For example you can go in and shoot paper targets then once your confident enough you go through their 3-D range and test your skills (and the strength of your arrows if you miss hahaha!) If you have any questions about your bow or technique and the staff or owner (Jerry Decker) are there to answer it for you. there's not many truley old school archery shops left and I'm glad to be able to go to Decker's. I'm happy to support the local bow shop, whether its by buying arrows or practicing my shots in anticipation for hunting season . I recommend checking these guys out for your self, you won't be disappointed.

I popped in today for a quick sight in for my bow that was out of wack. my bow had a string that was frayed i was goin to give it a shot for opening day i was asked by jerry if i wanted it fixed or if he had a string to put on it he would well he ended up having the string in the shop and had it replaced in no time thanks again for the help and excellent work

Great place to practice for upcoming archery seasons, also now available is hot archery. Hot archery is where you work up a sweat while and shed a few pounds while you practice. Be ready this archery season, stop at Decker's Bows and more!

So far I have one dealing with them and they are great. All I have heard from anyone who goes there is all good news as well. I would go there just to see the trophies he has hanging all over the store. Watch out though you could drop alot of money there, ha.Oh yeah P.S. John 2 below me is crazy.

Great place to shoot...and Jerry really knows his bows! I was having some tuning/rest issues, and he had me fixed up in just a few minutes.

Been shooting here for a while and always want to go back. What a great place to shoot especially in the bad weather when boredom creeps in. The guys are great here and have a great set up. 👍🇺🇸🦌🏹

Fantastic place to shoot your bow and catch up with the guys. A little dated but he is well equipped to help you out.

I brought a bow to jerry to have a new string put on and adjust the draw weight. I am very happy with his work.but i am not happy with how long he took and how much it cost. He had my bow for over a month and charged me over 100$ dollars for it.

I just realized this shop is right in my back yard but every time I go there its closed so I buy online or from Field and Stream. I went there Sunday during open hours and the posted sign said "closed until 10/22 for inventory. " Today is 10/22 and it's still closed.... so they really meant until 10/23. Its an archery shop closed in the middle of archery season. I try to support local but it is things like this that kill the mom and pop shops.

I've been there twice and both times they were close but the web page said they are open. So call before you go. So never made it inside can't rate that.
