Carmichaels Area Jr./Sr. High School

Im a mom of 5 kids who all went to and or currently attend Carmichaels school district. Its a wonderful school and very advanced academically compared to other schools in the area which is good but can be quite difficult for the younger elementary school students. There are some amazing teachers and yet there are some arrogant ones also....Second grade teacher Mrs. Cyr is one of them. God help you if your child gets that lady. The new principal's are great. The school's recently underwent a massive renovation as well. All in all its a great school but as with any school...problems do exist.

WARNING THIS IS A REVIEW OF CARMICHAELS MIDDLE SCHOOL Well...i never thought i would write a review of A school i go to.
But looking at other schools and seeing reviews and not just "I go here" I thought, "What The heck!"
Lets do the most important Category first, teachers and subjects. The teachers that i had were from mediocre to Great! Every teacher seamed like they were fighting each other for the best, in other words, they ALL had something different. You would act one way in one room then a different way in another room. Which I can't say how i feel about that, students can get nervous going form a whole new rules and ways to act and other ones. Some classes have to do this due to how under focused they are. English and Math are very focused on, while Science and History (History especially) are under funded, and given less care than others. Lets break it down, shall we?
English: It all starts here
English is the brick holder were i was, English was every where. English was keep on learning things slowly and surely! Just keep on learning them!
Science: LETS GET RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTT INTO THE NEWWWWWWS
Drama. O. MY. Slide show. In my school, science was...underfunded, till cared about, but underfunded. Science was fun and educational, while having not that much budget! Its so much fun! Science in my 6th grade class was one of the reasons i woke up in the morning! Ok...well no entirely, but good!
Math: 1+1=...
Math is that thing you not looking forward to but ends up being great! My Friends HATE math, mainly because of their "ways of teaching".
OUR math teaching is to tell you have to do it, then gives you homework, then waits five days until the test. Is It a good teaching method? MEH. But still kinda effective.My teacher was strict, but still efective!
History: It
History is dying. The last to months of school in my class were rebelling to learn history saying its "Not Teaching Them Anything, Important." History. Always. Repeats. Its. Self. Lets stop talking about the problem with our youth, and about our history. History is very underfunded, let the best class. They CARE about your grade, They TEACH you things that are important. They teach you things that you love. This is the best class.

Side notes
The lunch is ok. The lunch is terrible some times, while Great at other times. Funny story, my friend went up to the lunch lady, and said he was vegan. He was Literately told, "Have some kale" and that's it. So leave it up to your own interpretation
Gym is focused on to much! O my god! Gym needs to be cut a little, it has to much it needs!
Substitutes are terrible. They choose the worst Substitutes in history! They are either lazy,strict (which is not a problem), or just are doing it for the money. And the rare case of their being the one who teaches you the things you need to be tough.
FINAL SCORE
I love it here, and would not go to any of the schools next to it. I love how it will stand up for you, and bring justice! Is it the worst? No. Is the godlike? No. Is it good? yes! thank you for listening with me, and getting the review for one of my favorite schools of all time.
