Walgreens Pharmacy

Everyone has been very nice and helpful. I had some concerns about a new medication and the pharmacist actually spent about 10-15 minutes looking up different things about my concerns! I've never had any pharmacy take the time to do that ! Thank you. You will have my business!

I've used this pharmacy for the past 3 years and they have done very well. There were 1 or 2 very minor issues but were promptly fixed. And as far as the employees being polite, a 100% yes!!! And they are also very dog friendly, they always have a little treat for my fur baby every time I go thru the drive up window 🐶Thank You 😊

Called for a refill and even with an automated answering service, the easiest refill call I’ve ever made. Very helpful & friendly too.

WHY are they closed on Saturday???? This is ridiculous. Also, people who work cannot always get there by 6 p.m. WHAT"S GOING ON???? The staff use to be so nice....now they have an attitude.

Went there to get some information today on my medicines. The girls that work the counter were helpful. But the pharmacist that came over and interrupt are conversation we were having was very rude. I ask the pharmacist about my medicines and my insurance to find out why It was taking three days to get medicines. And why they keep mixing up my regular insurance with my Workers Comp insurance She said she didn’t know and it was a third party when it came to medicine getting approved. She also told me that they have to order my medicine they didn’t have it. I said okay and was it the brand name on the prescription as the doctor told me it would be. Because the other medicine was not working. They told me no that I have to go back to doctor and get it in writing. So I said okay. Not their fought on that. So I go back to doctor again clear across town. Doctor tried putting prescription in and the computer kick it back. So she had to hand write it. So I took it back to them again. They call me 45 min later to tell me that they can’t get it. I had to call another pharmacy. So I called a couple places, they said the same thing. So then I call back to talk to pharmacist to get them to give me my first prescription. The pharmacist on the phone told me I shouldn’t be telling doctor what kind of medicine I can take. Which I thought that was very unprofessional being the other medicine was causing me issues so the doctor wanted to try a medicine that work in the passed. So then I tried to get her to just fill the the prescription I brought the first time. She just wanted to argue with me and say they couldn’t get the medicine brand name or generics brand. I told her the prescription was what I was already taking. She said I needed to go back to doctor to get another medicine. I just gave up. I have been waiting three weeks since a car accident to get a doctor appointment to get a medicine that works. And now I’m still waited till next week. The pharmacist made me fill like she could care less. No bedside manner or help at all. I’m only giving this place 2 stars because my wife likes the counter girls because they have been very helpful to her.

Ps. They knew what medicine I was going to get. They could of told me when I was there the first time it wasn’t available.

The company has completely reorganized this office. Most of the staff, that worked here for years while it was part of Meritus, have all left. They're attention to detail and human interaction has suffered. Unfortunately I must take certain medications. It comes in prefilled infections. Unfortunately they gave me a dosage 10X different from my prescription. Every box had the correct label, but the unopened boxes contained the wrong medicine. Each box had two sets initials (I assume for verification). Luckily I noticed the boxes were the wrong color before I started injecting myself. Of course they were horrified at the mistake and fixed it, but that shows an amazing break down on all levels. If those boxes weren't yellow instead of the normally black ones, really bad things would have happened.

I would say not much has changed since Jeff 's review.

So I just got message that my doctor sent script over. But looking at this walgreeswalgrees hrs, I see they are closed Sat and Sun. The script that was filled is too important not to miss for two days. What kind of pharmacy closes on the weekends.n

This location is absolutely garbage. The hours are a joke and they take hours, sometimes days to fill your prescription. Your better off going somewhere else. Wish I could give negative stars

I have been using this Walgreens for years but now they are messing up my meds to the point that my insurance won't pay for my November pills until the girls fix what they did on the insurance papers. Will be going somewhere else don't go here because it will happen to you. Please don't use this pharmacy go to a different Walgreens these people are rude and they do not know how to talk to people I was just in there while a lady that works there was on the phone with somebody and she did not talk to that person the correct way and when she got off the phone she was telling everybody in the store that had that person that she was talking to just made her so frustrated and ruined her day

Pharmacist at the drive through window on 12/28 at appx 9:30am was INCREDIBLY rude. Simply asked about COVID testing availability and she starts going off at us, “YOU SHOULD BE AT MERITUS URGENT CARE YOU ARE AT THE WRONG PLACE.” Gets loud and tells my boyfriend to go to another store. Wouldn’t give us a chance to speak, we ended up just driving away as she was standing there ranting. Won’t use this Walgreens again. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Friday and the website and hours on the building state they close at 6pm. I couldn't make it there any earlier than 5:50 and they where already closed. They are closed till Monday. I won't be able to amake it there any earlier on Monday. I am hoping the other store can pull my prescription. I havlt used this place in years.

Called the PA avenue store at 5:40 and 5:45 and 5:50 and the VRU stated the store was CLOSED!! Seriously?? If the store closes at 6pm then someone should be able at answer my call....otherwise then close at 5:30!
