It's got a nice selection, and a comfortable atmosphere. But what really impressed me was the manger that was working around 11am 12-17. She stopped the middle of a transaction because her employee thought she made an error. Rather than get offended, she asked the employee her opinion "no go ahead, I might be wrong" was the perfect way to encourage her employee to speak up and utilize her training.

Worth the 2+ hour drive!

What great service! Everyone was so helpful with my son and husband to find just right size and fit. I never would have known my son would need a 14 4E but they had it and he was in love. Absolutely will be back for the next pair of boots our family needs.
P.S. We loved all the conceal carry coats and presidential support!

Good quality boots & apparel. I still have a pair of Irish setter hunting boots I bought from them years ago when they had the store in Corsica, PA, & today I purchased a nice pair of Irish setter work boots with a side zipper which will be very easy to get on since I've had back surgery and don't bend like I used to. The girl was very helpful and nice that took care of me. They also give a discount for cash or check purchases, and was cheaper than any place I looked online for the same boots. In this day and age, it's nice to find a store with quality merchandise, knowledgeable sales people, and great prices. Keep up the good work! Oh, I almost forgot, the sign is amusing from time to time too.

Went in answered the clerks question as to what I was looking for, followed her directions. Found exactly what I was looking for, tried on one pair, perfect fit, and paid for them, all in a matter of a few minutes. Carolina loggers, can't say enough about how much I like that store!

There’s a reason he’s been in business 30 plus years. He would give you the shirt off his back and then some. Steve and his worker Heidi took great care of me and my wife while we shopped.
With the current shortages he still had what we needed and my wife had the most comfortable pair of slippers under the Christmas tree from Jacks. Hope he can make another 30 years keeping our feet warm and dry!!!

Couldn't ask for better customer service while shopping @ Jacks Boot Shop last Friday.. It seems I always have trouble finding the right sized boots for my wide feet.. Yet even though the store was pretty busy on Friday, the owner came over and took the time and patience to help me find a pair of boots that would fit perfect, but he had to special order them.. Got them delivered today and I couldn't be more pleased.. Just wish more store's would provide this type of good personal service to its customers... As for myself, I'm very pleased that I stopped in @ Jacks. And going forward, this will be my 'go-to' store for both my work clothes and boot needs.. Great store with good quality shoe's and good knowledgeable customer service.

This is one of the most unique stores in North Central Pennsylvania. The boot selection is fantastic. No low-rent footwear here, top quality boots, gear, and clothing. If your income is earned by way of a good pair of boots, you owe it to yourself to shop here. The staff are friendly and know their stock very well. A store like this is rare these days. Stop once, and you'll find yourself shopping here again.

This place is great. Its where I buy all my work clothes and boots. They have a massive selection from rain gear to just your everyday wear. Knives, socks, gloves, hoodies, jackets, Fire Retardant gear, Electrical Resistant Clothing, Under Amour Base layer and beyond. Also a large selection of biking/motorcycle leather wear and riding boots. What can I say, I love this place.

I went in needing a new pair of work boots and was immediately assisted by the friendly faces. I was shown where to look for the boots I needed and even got suggestions based on the type of work I’d be doing.
I walked out with boots that were better than what I intended to get, and for just about the same price. Jacks also carries more than just boots so go check them out!

We traveled 2 hours to go to the store. I was in very impressed with the wide variety of work boots and their prices are unbeatable it was well worth the drive. Their bathrooms were very nice and clean. The customer service was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I went on a trip to Cooks Forest and decided to stop and check this place out. It is one of the nicest boot shops that I have been to. They have a great selection of boots, clothes, and accessories. I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. My guess is that most of these people forget that quality boots are an investment and people on here are too cheap to realize this.

Me and a few friends took a trip down there to the shop and I have never been down there and we went for my friend to get a new pair of boots for work. When I entered it was totally different than what I thought it was...They had a great selection of boots, I was even looking to buy a pair but they mostly had boots that were a size bigger than what I where. I would really recommend this shop to anyone.
