Ferncliff Natural Area Parking

Awesome place to run. It’s pretty far from Pittsburgh but worth the drive. You get easy access to the GAP and you’ll cross the River on a cool bridge shortly getting on the trail. It’s pretty much all gravel so it’s a little easier on your joints/tendons/ligaments.

Found this by accident. What a cool area. We will be back.

Convenient parking area for short runs on the Lower Yough and access to the bike trail. It would be nice if they could plant more trees in the middle if the lot to provide some shade.

Decent spot to park, directions to trailhead a little unclear. Bring a map.

Easier parking, particularly for larger vehicles.
