i usually don't take my time to write reviews for businesses but this place left a good impression on me, i visited the store 2 week ago while i was visiting my family in upper darby. Honestly this is the first african store ive visited that treated me nice. as an african mixed with Brazilian most of the time i visit african store they always talk about me. or something about my husband(who is white).most of them think i don't speak mandingo or Liberian broken English(i do very well) which is sad because it break my heart when your own people talk bad about you. anyway, i visited this store and within second of entering the place i was welcomed with a warm smile from this guy they called alhaji i think he's from sierra leone he showed me around and mr musa jr took the lead. they helped me find all the things i needed that day to make my fufu and soup. next evening i came back again musa was there with another staff and an older lady SAME thing again! everyone was so freindly and helpful. very respectful at that. i believe musa jr is the manager and i would like to say he's doing an amazing job. ive been to woodland ave and the african store on 52th st in my opinion this is the best african store around! i highly recommend them, they have fresh meat, things from togo, ghana, liberian and even some islander stuff. they also sell shipping containers. honest people the least to say. if they don't have something they'll try to get it or recommend a business near by that does. I truly wish most african establishment would use this place as an example on how to treat customers! some place act like you are bothering them just for shopping at thier store. Mr musa you are doing an amazing job, i will come support your business anytime im around.! thanks.
