Highspire Diner

Tried something new last Thursday. Went for breakfast. It was delicious. They even warm the syrup. The place has such a cute little vintage feel to it. Will definitely be going again. Our server was so sweet.

The internet was not available when I frequented here very often 1974-1976 while at PSU so I'll leave my review now. Fifty years later it still looks like a good place to eat. Always had good food and exceptional service. Glad to see it is still there and has not faltered.

Absolutely one of my new favorite diners. The inside is as classic/retro as it can get and the food was wonderful. We were clearly out of towners and they treated us like locals. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were clean. best of all, there was plenty of off-street parking in the back lot.

This place is a wonderful place to go for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Great staff and the cook is awesome in cooking foods. The prices are affordable, the atmosphere is good, yes I would recommend this dinner to people, and free parking

They were a very friendly group of people at the diner. The food arrived quickly and was good. I ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet and Chocolate Chip pancakes. The meal was delicious. I would recommend it as a good place for breakfast.

Came to the reopening and the food is absolutely amazing!!!! We had the western omelette, chocolate chip pancakes a waffle and it’s absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend them!

This is a great retro American diner. The people are beyond friendly and kind, and the food is fresh and served quickly, too! They even have an order-ahead, Wednesday night, take out dinner special every week! What's not to love? ❤

On a trip on the area passed up the horrible food at the hotel and we need some good breakfast and fir sure found it at this place. We met sue our wonderful waitress she was fun and attentive. They had some nice special. Was comfortable old school diner that is for sure. And food was just amazing and hit the spot. if your in area check this place out.sue should get raise for sure.

This place is a delightful throwback to the 1950s. The food is really good, service is delightful. The building is dripping with authenticity and charm. Do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast.

I was in town for an event, never been here before and decided to give it a try for breakfast. As soon as we sat down at the counter(3 of us) we got service immediately. Ordered coffee and was told the specials. Ordered food and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Coffee and food was great, staff was super friendly, prices were very reasonable. I would recommend going here for breakfast if your from out of town or just have never tried this place.

Inside you’ll take a step back to the 1950’s - 1960’s. Really clean vintage diner. Cozy and welcoming. Food was more than affordable and very good.

I got the crispy chicken lettuce tomato and mayo with an unsweetened iced tea and it was scrumptious. Service was welcoming and patient and we sat outside in the nice weather. 10 out of 10 would dine again
