Max's Grille & Sports Bar

Little bit before noon I walked in and the bartender greeted me.
Now that is not required, however when that happens service is usually good and this was the case.
I was only in town for a few hours on business and just needed to rest, relax and eat a bit.

The homemade potato chips were delicious.

Restaurant was clean, and the lunch crowd filled up quick.

We live about half an hour from this location, but this place has excellent food and service at value prices, so is worth the drive. I always get the 8 oz flat iron steak and my boyfriend usually gets seafood au gratin. They also have an interesting cocktail list and wine that is sold cheaper by the glass than most other places in the area. Worth noting, they take reservations on open table and have outdoor dining when weather permits.

This is one of our favorite spots in the valley. We typically get takeout out and it's already ready in the time frame they suggest for pick up, by the time we get home, the food is still warm. The staff is always extremely friendly and even when you can tell they're busy doing a few things at once they do a great job at maintaining everything. Anytime there have been issues with the food/orders they are quick to make it correct. My go-to order is the flat iron steak with macaroni & cheese! Some other favorites are the crab dip bread bowl for an appetizer, the jack Daniel's chicken breast, and their meatball sub.

This is my son's favorite local place so he decided to take mom there for lunch. The moment we walked through the door we were greeted with warm hellos and genuine smiles from the staff. Our server was new but extremely friendly and personable. The food was FANTASTIC!! My Philly Cheese steak sandwich was so good, I saved half of it for my hubby so he would be willing to come here for lunch 😋

Here on a Sunday watching the game and as usual the service was absolutely amazing Sky was so sweet we can in with 7 people and not one of us needed anything she was so attentive and sweet absolutely wonderful , Zach made some great mojitos food was absolutely amazing thank you guys for becoming our favorite place in town 💕

I am going to rate this place 5 stars. I am a professional chef with 21 years experience . The food was amazing, the people were even better . I love the environment. Since I am also a transgender woman I will rate this Max's 5 stars for acceptance and friendliness towards people like myself. Did I say the staff was amazing? They are all rock stars in my mind. I am attaching photos of my last night's fun at Max's. I used to live in Las Vegas Nevada for 13 years. I would rate Max's 5 stars if it was in Las Vegas Nevada.

So if you are in M Burg go to Max's.

The place is gorgeous and chill; nothing too overwhelming with the atmosphere. We got a crab dip bread bowl to share, which was better than any other crab dip I've had. For my meal, I got a chicken sandwich with breaded chicken and their jalapeño ranch on the side. The jalapeño ranch was not too spicy for me at all and was quite enjoyable. I also had a side macaroni that I didn't like very much, but the fries were absolutely delicious. 10/10

We eat here all the time with my Mother in Law. Busy night tonight and order got screwed up. The young women waiting on us was awesome. The Manager came out and also apologized. They really took care of us and made good on the mistake. We will be back again for sure. Nice that a business still understands customer service. Thanks!

I like Max’s Grille because their food is good and they have some good prices with certain items like the wraps and chicken wings aren’t too expensive either. The waiters there do a good job and are prompt. And the atmosphere is nice and a good view of the Susqy River, and kinda neat view overlooking the railroads.

Amazing vibes! First time at Max’s. The food was amazing; we had the wings (habanero & garlic parm) and lobster mac and cheese. Super FRESH! The quantity was plentiful and WELL worth it! Adam, you are amazing! Your energy is so inviting. I almost forgot I came in to order food LOL. Will be back soon! 🙌🏾✨

My first time here was on Monday March 18th, from out of town (Youngstown,
Oh-io. Food was great. But the complete staff from behind the bar to the kitchen are a game maker for this Sports bar. You can have a great looking restaurant, which this is. But the staff is what makes or breaks it. Hands down and hats off the the staff at Max’s Grille & Sports Bar.

Anna is an amazing bartender. Never have to request a drink always has next one ready! Takes great care of my family when they are visiting from Philly. Max's has a great menu, priced right, and excellent service. Definitely my go to bar & restaurant.

First time here with my two sons and daughter-in-law who live in Halifax and come here frequently.

I was a GM in the restaurant industry for 20 years and both of my sons restaurant managers. Really, really impressed!!!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and found Max’s for lunch. The food was amazing! I had a burger and my wife had a cheesesteak. Our waitress Courtney was great. Her and the other girl in the dining room were very busy, but they were still friendly and quick. We can’t wait to come back!
