Being at the Highlander has been fine . did the owner us friendly and polite . and very helpful when I need his help . sid cares about people that stay at his hotel hundred percent. My room is nice no issue since day one . I recommend the Highlander to my friends and family

Highlander Motel was clean, warm, and had good shower pressure. The beds were small and the showers were tiny. My girlfriend thought the towels hadn't been washed. It was not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, and it didn't have free breakfast, but it was a great deal for the price.

Simple and clean rooms at very reasonable prices. Very nice owners. Great cable TV and HBO as well. Very close to downtown rutland and right on route 7. A great place to start a wonderful green mountain family vacation!

A great place to lay your head. Not too many amenities, but hey I don't spend to much timer in hotel rooms anyway. The price far outweighs any perceived short commings

The staff was very friendly and the room was bright and clean. The problem - our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Had to deodorize it but still couldn’t get rid of the smell. It served its purpose at a decent price but wouldn’t stay there again in my next trip to the area.
