Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey

First let me say the Front office manager, Claire McCabe, was wonderful! She was very helpful, knowledgeable about the area and overall a pleasant person!
The rooms were big but a bit outdated, could also have been a wee bit cleaner. We had a king suite with a nice view of the golf course.
Breakfast was nicely set up and a good variety of food. Just what you expect of Hampton Inns. I will definitely go back!
Oh...and they give yummy Hershey's chocolate bars upon check-in!! Woot woot!

Wonderful stay. Attentive staff, clean and well-appointed rooms. We were there over Easter weekend which coincided with Spring Break, so the whole town was an unmitigated dumpster fire with crowds and kids, including the hotel, but somehow, the staff kept the place humming along and there were ZERO disruptions from kids screaming etc. Will absolutely stay again.

We were upgraded to a suite! It was lovely. And we greatly appreciated it. Beds are very comfortable. As you can see. Maids carts are stocked. I went looking for our housekeeper to compliment her. And I found she took cushions off couch. Nice! I have had a cleaning business for about 30 years. So I check for bed bugs 1st thing. Clean rooms are important to me. Breakfast was delish! With many options. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for such a nice stay. 🙂

Amazing staff. Clean. Big rooms. Very close to great restaurants, What If restaurant is two doors done, amazing. Great breakfast, loved the make your own waffles. Irene, kim and Claire were especially helpful. I was thinking of Hotel Hershey, which was not worth the cost. So glad I chose this Hotel. I will be back.

Great location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only bad part was the room. First I requested a room change bc I didn't want to be on 1st floor. They put me on 2nd floor overlooking the roof. I walk into room with a man peering into my room from the roof. They were doing room construction, was annoying until they left for the day. Otherwise everything great.

Our stay was great, the best breakfast we had so far compared to the other Hampton inn we stayed in the past , they have more foods and drinks selection.

Stayed here a few times and always had a good experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with mini fridge and microwave. Lobby is very spacious, and their breakfast is top notch. Very close to downtown Hershey and the park. It's a solid option if you are spending some nights in Hershey.

Stayed here for a weekend in January. I was very pleased with the hotel! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great! A whole hot buffet, waffle bar, cereals, pastries, etc. The jacuzzi was broken when I was there, which was disappointing, but I made use of the fitness center a couple of times. Great location, close to everything!

Great place for pets and family, and down the road from the park!

Their reservation service will price match from valid online offers -- I sent a saved HTML of payment page just before payment with online with cheapest e-booking, and they matched!

Call ahead if you have a larger dog (read their online policy) but management was very accommodating, and most pleasant to speak to. Has a great spot for your pooch to walk and poop with a lawn behind the hotel away from traffic -- but don't forget to bring a baggie as their dispenser near the garbage was empty for my stay. Still, the lawn was poop free.

Indoor pool was clean and comfortable, and the loin-spawn had a blast using it. I did not try to bring the dog into the pool, and I would not recommend it.

Breakfast service was tasty, and well kept, and would also recommend that over local restaurants for the convenience and cost savings for larger groups. Food service ran like clockwork thanks to Donna, the Breakfast Manager for my visit.

Only complaint might be thin walls for my room, but it wasn't really an issue after 9 p.m.

I plan to stay again.

I called this place at 1:30am after arriving at a perviously booked property elsewhere that was nightmarish. April at the front desk was extremely kind, welcoming and accommodating. She told us to come right over and she got us into a King suite at a decent rate. It felt so much cleaner, nicer and safer than the other property. It was great for our two small dogs. I was actually very impressed with their breakfast spread. They had a big assortment of options to grab and go including 2 kinds of muffins, bagel with cream cheese, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, multiple flavors of name brand yogurt, multiple flavors of name brand cereals, milk, juice, hot chocolate, coffee and tea. The housekeeping manager was friendly and made sure we got a refill of towels/garbage bags etc. All the staff checking out were friendly as well. Overall I would certainly stay here again in the future and I thank April and the staff very much for accommodating us this time!

The only “con” I could say would be the rooms are a bit “dated” if that is something that you care about. It doesn’t really bother me and I like that the furniture (desks,lamps) have built in outlets for easy access and charging convenience!

Thought it was going to be a little closer to Hershey Park but it was still within great distance. We thought the room would be a little bigger since we got two queen size beds in the room. But other than that it was good

Very nice hotel. Close to Hersheypark and places to eat. Rooms need to be updated though but beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Room had no drawers to place your clothes away so I placed it on top of the desk that was there. Happy that I could check in and check out electronically without having to go to the front desk. Breakfast was complimentary and not bad of choices of food. Digital keyless is good when it works. I had some trouble using it a couple of times so decided to get a card key instead. Staff are nice and friendly. Very helpful when needed. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to sleep comfortable and want to be close to the park.

Wonderful hotel, great location. Rooms were very nice. The staff I dealt with were wonderful.
First snow of the year while we were there

Extremely nice hotel. The food was nice, the rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, and there's a variety of channels on the TV. I liked the one word phrases on the doors and walls as well, it was a nice touch. (Have you seen the elevator's black and white photo of the old ladies laughing with a caption of simply, uhm, "lol."?)

Very nice hotel. Everything was clean and the staff was great. The complimentary breakfast was a little lacking, as they all are but, the restaurant next door serves the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a restaurant. We came to Hershey for a concert and the hotel was exactly ONE mile from the Hershey theater. Parking was easy Trip was great. Thanks, Hampton Inn.

My family and I stayed here while visiting Hershey and we were very pleased with the hotel. There was a small issue regarding the outlet in our room which was corrected immediately. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and location is super close to the park. We would stay again!

We stayed here during our visit to Chocolate world and Hershey Park. The hotel was in an excellent proximity to the attractions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We took our toddler to the pool which was very nice as well. Frankly, I wouldn't stay anywhere else if we ever come back to visit Hershey again!

If I had to give any negatives it would be that the elevator creaked a little and the bathrooms didn't have exhaust fans but steam didn't seem to be a problem.

I highly recommend this hotel and the staff was really nice. The floor mats on the way in said something to the effect that they are only happy if they make us happy. It really felt like that. Great hotel.

This Hampton in was absolutely perfect from check in to check out. I was given a room that accommodated my request for a quiet room since I am a light sleeper. The hotel and room were immaculately clean and well stocked. The breakfast was well staffed and stocked. The staff were professional and customer service oriented. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn at Hershey.

Overall, I had a great experience. The location was great for where my family and I were going. Not too far from the outlets or Hershey Park. Eateries are within walking distance. Breakfast was good. Rooms were were spacious and clean. I will stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Nice hotel! Clean and very close to Hershey attractions. Breakfast was decent. Front desk and staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter loved the pool. I would like to extend a special thank you to the housekeeping department. My daughter left her favorite stuffed animal behind after checking out. We didn't realize it was missing until we arrived at home (many hours away). We called and were thrilled to hear that housekeeping had found it, saved it and were very prompt in shipping it back to us. We cannot thank you enough!!! We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
