Comfort Suites Hummelstown - Hershey

Comfort Suites Hummelstown-Hershey is the ideal place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good and there is coffee and tea throughout the day. I love it!
One of the managers, Sam was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of where to eat and how to get around. We love the service. You will not be disappointed.

This had to be one of the best hotels I've stayed at so far! Positives: extremely clean, quiet, very comfortable bed (king suite), great size room, large crystal clear flat screen TV, wonderful and friendly front desk staff, all for a very reasonable price!! The only negative, which is one of my pet peeves, is that the shower water pressure was awful, but then again, I've yet to stay at any hotel so far where the shower pressure was good... great job to Comfort Suites for meeting 95% of my requirements! That's not an easy accomplishment...

They had bacon at breakfast. It was awesome because how many hotels have bacon for breakfast?!
Great sized rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, and an outstanding breakfast selection. But there was hardly any artwork on the walls, the arm for the desk chair was loose and falling off, the pipe to the showerhead had a leak that sprayed all over the floor, and half the room had a huge empty void where a jacuzzi tub would probably have gone if it were a full suite (I got a mini suite) with a bathroom exhaust fan over the space. It made the layout look kind of strange, but nevertheless, I'd absolutely go back if I was in the area again!

Amazing as always! Have never been let down or felt uncomfortable at Comfort inn suites. Clean and amazing staff. I slept so good I actually woke up early enough for Continental breakfast and that was awesome too.

We had booked a room at another place originally (through Priceline), got there and there was no rooms available (but they had still charged us). Here we are at midnight, nowhere to go with 2 kids and not much with the size we needed available (and because it's so late also the inability to check in immediately, we would have to wait until 4pm or pay triple the cost). Priceline was absolutely zero help so here we were looking online and calling around until after 2am. Finally we reach this hotel and Saint Eric at the front desk. When he told us we could come in immediately to rest, that we wouldn't be charged more, that the drinks behind the counter weren't at a quadruple markup, saw that the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable I seriously wanted to hug him lol. I seriously couldn't reccomend this hotel more!! I'm seeing now also that the breakfast is so much more than we found at other competitors. If the company/corporate higher ups read this - Eric is the best, a treasure of an employee, and deserves a raise! lol I vote we clone Eric and make the world a better place. Thank you for saving our sanity and turning all this around! 😁

Amazing hotel, great price! The rooms were very large and comfortable beds. It was nice to have a separate sitting area that could double as an additional bed if needed! Breakfast was good too, I really enjoyed my waffles. And a bonus, there is coffee available 24/7!

Wow! We would give the service at this hotel more than 5 stars! Dee, the Night Manager, went "above and beyond the call of duty" and made us feel welcome upon our arrival. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and cozy at the same time, with a separate sitting area and large jacuzzi in the room.

Our room was at the end of the hallway and it was so quiet as we slept, it felt like we were the only ones in the hotel.

The busy family friendly breakfast had a nice variety with healthy options and the lady running the kitchen, Rita I believe, was also extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel backs up to a hill and has a gazebo for smokers, which is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy being outside.

All staff members were exceptional and my husband believes "attitude reflects leadership". Upon meeting the owner, Ocktosh, and the Hotel Manager Joseph, he understood why...

We are southerners, coming from the West Coast, and because of Dee, we will definitely stay here every time we come back East.

We stayed here for the great close proximity to Hershey! We stayed in a king size bed room, and its huge. Bigger than I expected. Always a great surprise. A bonus seating area in the room is great, along with a large closet. I guess if a family stays for awhile, you can easily fit your suitcase inside the closet. Will definitely stay here again. :)

Friendly staff, clean spacious room with mini fridge, 2 queen beds, plus a sleeper sofa and work station. Pool was nice, did not turn my daughter's hair green. Free breakfast had a lot of options, from cereal and yogurt to waffles, eggs, sausage and bacon. Fruit was fresh. 10 minute drive to Hershey Park and Chocolate World, and the zoo (visiting the zoo is free if you enter from the park).

I stayed here while my Dad was in Hershey Medical Center. The gal who checked me in was so nice! When you have someone in the hospital they offer you a discount, so please ask them if this is the case for you!
Breakfast was plentiful with lots of room in the dining area. Lots of variety of food and the chocolate waffles were yummy!

I recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and very hospitable. For instance my youth group and I attended a youth convention at Hershey. We had 24 people in all in our group. The hotel accommodated us as if we were a single person or couple.
Also, the continental breakfast had good food, good variety and all fresh. I highly recommend this hotel. I've stayed in other hotels in the area even though they were not back at all there is just something about this Comfort Suit that stands out above the rest.

Location was good for the conference I was attending at the Hershey lodge. Room is large and very clean. Breakfast is good. Large inside pool. Cleaning staff very friendly, left a message to enjoy my day on my bed daily.

Very nice hotel, awesome service!!! They have a well stocked breakfast service. The indoor pool us very nice, specially during this cold winter.

Coming in and out of the parking lot can be tricky. The hotel was undergoing renovations but they have it well controlled.

Great place to stay while in Hershey rooms are nice, clean, and much less compared to others in the area. The hotel smells like a home. The employees are very nice and will assist you any way they can. I will be staying again when I visit.

This place is very conveniently located between Harrisburg and Hershey, so we were able to experience a bit of both during our short visit. Really scenic and interesting area, for sure. Hershey Park is the more kid-friendly spot, of course, but I'd highly recommend both Appalachian and Troeg's breweries for the adults, after you've had enough chocolate. The room itself was huge. I suppose all of the rooms here are "suites", which is what makes this hotel feel unique and somewhat luxurious, yet still decently priced for the area. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will be back sometime!

First night and all's well. Allowed us to check in early. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Full breakfast is offered with your reservation. Is also one of the quietest spots we've stayed at. Hot water was plentiful.

I use Choice Hotels as my first choice when booking a room when traveling. I'm always worried about booking out of town locations, concerned with location surroundings and how clean the hotel is kept up.
No worries here, comfortable safe location, very clean hotel, room and its a relatively new build hotel. Located close to Hershey Park and Harriburg, shopping and restaurants close as well.

The showers were lovely and the housekeeping workers are very nice. Excellent vending machines. Fitness center is small but gets the job done. Greek yogurt at the continental breakfast. Very clean
