Half price for me today because i am a consigner but i went for dresses mainly and was not disappointed. Spent $50 got a full trash bag 2 nice coats too.

Love the glen mills sale! Great clean location, deals upon deals. I have found so many good bargains here for my boys! I get excited for every sale!

Love this place! Great prices for gently used clothes from preemie to older kids. This consignment event happens twice a year for summer clothes typically in March and winter clothes in September. This is where to go to for winter clothes, coats, snow-pants/ boots, jammies, holiday clothes, and summer clothes and bathing suits. Of course they have great prices on strollers, car seats, pack n plays, bouncers, and big toys like play kitchens, doll houses, trikes, bikes, and smaller toys.

The few cons are some way overpriced clothes that are second hand. I don't even consider anything that has a star on it (meaning full price on 1/2 off Sunday) if the price is $5 or more.
Another con is when the clothes have stains on them. Or look really warn or are pilling. That's quite annoying. Otherwise, it's worth it.

I did the math a few years ago and I save $600 a year for two kids by getting 90% of their wardrobe at these consignment sales.

I will also say that as my kids get older (2nd and 5th graders), finding clothes for them, especially my son) gets harder. So I shop the other JBF sales lime Wilmington, Oak and Wynnewood.

I paid $60.00 to enter in JBF Glen mills early this week. I have been attending glen mills JBF since 2009.
I spend a couple thousand every year. The past few years Ms. Hardy has had this rude demeanor with a heaping portion of hatred and mean looks towards me. Last year she told me I should have brought my own rack. This year 2023 in August, when I did bring my rolling rack, I was swiftly told, “No!” It is obvious that she doesn’t like me so I quickly replied, “no problem!” I proceeded to stack clothes and pile them up in holding area. When I was on my 6th bag of merchandise, I see 1 white woman with a rolling rack then a second white woman with a rolling rack. Just to be on the safe side…I said to woman #2 “Wow! You brought that from home?” and she sd, “Yes!” And! then I confirmed, “Oh! Wow! They let you bring it in here?” And, she sd, “yes!”
I don’t have a personal relationship with Ms Hardy. The only interaction is attending her JBF Gen. Mills sales. So my only thought can be that she basically doesn’t like me bc I am not a white person. I have to say…Ms. Hardy! I work hard and earn my income and with our last interaction. The level of hatred and how you would smile at other customers and treat me with rudeness. I’m not sure who hurt you but it wasn’t me and I don’t think you should treat non-white people differently.
Do better and treat everyone equally regardless of race. Not that it should matter but, I was born in the USA!!

I started my JBF experience at Glen Mills. Then I moved to another JBF owned by someone else. Today I went to the West Chester sale. It’s highly disappointing to see such overpriced and dirty items. I’ve consigned at another JBF sale for YEARS. I clean everything I bring and I make sure all the pieces of toys and games are accounted for. I was disgusted to see the absolute JUNK being sold. Toys missing pieces, scuffed shoes. The clothing prices were absurd. No one is paying $6 for your children’s place shorts, Karen. I can buy clearance and sale items brand new at the store for that price. At other JBF sales I can score shirts for $1.50 and shorts for $3.00. They have a $3.00 hanging minimum at this sale for some reason so the consignors all overprice their items. This is the second sale of theirs I walked out empty handed and I won’t be back. What a huge waste of my time. To the consignors—shoppers are looking for DEALS.

Was instantly stopped at the door by Kelly and told my son(who is 2 and happily being worn) couldnt come in due to not allowing children over 12 months in. Which is fine except there were other children that were walking around. When I brought this to Kelly's attention, she didn't say anything and walked away. I also would have been fine with it if my wife hadn't asked Kathy at the Fall sale if children could be worn, had been told it was okay, and had worn our 18mo during the Fall presale with no issues. So we wasted a drive for nothing and also wasted our presale passes.

I did 3 sales.. I had saved 500.00 in checks. I heals onto the checks, because I was waiting on info to start a College fund for my Grandson. When I called to get the Checks replaced ( almost 500.00). They would not reissue my checks. I worked the sale, sorted, and help clean up. Now I have learned this whole contract is illegal. All these ppl car about is keeping as much as your money as they can. Not " Friends" at all. Please beware.
I have six grown children and 14 Grandchildren. I will never do business with these ppl again.
I have recently learned, a check from them is a binding contract. Even though the checks were past the time limit.. She should have reissued my Grandsons College fund money.

Extremely disorganized, overheated and crowded. Prices were the same as store prices, do not recommend.

It was pretty disappointing and too far of a drive for me to justify the selection and prices. Oh well.
