Beautiful trail that follows Laurel Run. In early June it was fairly tricky getting a couple kids across the stream just off the road, but a fallen tree made a decent bridge. There were many old growth hemlocks and giant poplars along the trail and the shaded trail was lined with ferns. Plenty of parking on the side of Laurel Run Rd for half a dozen cars. We met a nice DCNR ranger who shared some maps, coloring books and Smokey the Bear stickers for the kids.
