Tru by Hilton Grantville

Loved the staff here! Everyone I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude toward service.

The Key Card folder had a little bedazzled diamond on it for Diamond members. Thought that was a cute, personal, detailed addition. There are several options in the area but glad I chose Tru over the Hampton Inn, Days Inn, and the Best Western in the area.

Great rate and the hotel and room was super clean, I slept well, and the friendliest of the staff really made the difference. It was a nice stay and a great choice. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's modern, clean, and unique. They had local activities written out on whiteboards by the elevator, and a shuffle board in the main area. Breakfast consisted of fresh pancakes, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and various baked goods. The floors were a bit creaky but otherwise everything was great.

Never met a staff or hotel so welcoming!

With our large family, all seven families' rooms were on the same floor! Rooms were up-to-date, very clean and smelled wonderful! Linens were WHITE and exceptionally soft, too!

I recently stayed here on a cross country road trip. I arrived in the late evening after an 8 hour drive. I was told there was no reservation for me. I checked, and had inadvertently reserved my room for the previous day. As I was visibly about the freak out (since I had already paid, and had my wife and dog with me) the front desk person, Victor, told me not to worry at all. He';; talk to the manage. The manager, Ashley, came and said she'd take care of it no problem. They refunded the previous night, and charged me for the current night. After having a very long drive, and dealing with other 'not so helpful people' along our trip, it was a welcome surprise, and quite a relief, to have some people be kind and understanding. This is probably more a review of those two people rather than Tru, although my room was great- clean and well appointed. Since that positive experience I've stayed only at Tru hotels since then (and not had any negative issues).

Very clean and comfortable rooms with great gym and very accomodating and helpful staff - especially Rekha - who went above and beyond to overnight a bag I left behind with my father's important belongings - i highly recommend staying at the Tru in Grantville if you are traveling this direction!

This experience was so magical! Ingrid and Jillian began by greeting us with excitement and kindness and made our check in so smooth. Our interactions with them alone would make us stay again! The rooms are so comfy and cute, and the breakfast is delicious. We’ll be back every time we’re in Hershey!

Nice clean hotel! Sweet little cafe area downstairs with snacks and such. Great views from the odd-numbered side. Watched the sunset. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more!

There isn't much around at this exit, but just one exit down are a bunch of food options. Cool spot overall!

Recently, my sister had her wedding in the area and our entire wedding party as well as our guests, descended upon this hotel for the weekend. The staff accommodated our craziness beautifully!

The beds are soft, there are snacks and coffee available at all times, the showers are hot with amazing water pressure, and the entire place is clean and inviting!

I especially want to shout out Fatima, who worked at the front desk and was so calm and patient after we asked so many things from her in preparation for the wedding! She really was such a godsend!

Everyone had wonderful things to say about this place! Thank you for having us!

Nice room, nice people, complimentary breakfast and even a pancake machine. The only thing I found odd was the lack of a closet.

It was our 1st time at a Tru. We will definitely be back. The facility was spotless. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and informative. We liked the environmental measures. Eg, microwave in lobby, coffee in lobby, extra towels at front desk. Breakfast was fresh and hot. 5 stars to and for all!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and kept. The breakfast was delish and they did not shy away from selections. It was definitely and enjoyable stay. Looking forward to my future stays.

This was by far one of the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. The girls at front check in were so friendly. She explained to me everything and what to expect in regards to the lobby what’s available, housekeeping, breakfast pretty much everything. And everything was exactly how she explained it. I don’t normally do reviews but my check in experience made me want to compliment this staff- everyone I encountered working there was super friendly!
The room does not have carpet and I loved it. Bathroom was clean and I didn’t feel like I was choking on the steam after a shower like at most hotels. I usually have to open the door right away and wipe the mirrors but Ii didn’t find myself doing that this time which was great.
The blinds are really great-blocks light but if u want u can let light in but still has a nice layer of privacy. Hard to explain but it made me really want one for my own home. Speaking of privacy- the peep holes actually have a privacy cover!!
Tons of lights and options. One of lights had a slide instead of a on or off so I could adjust the brightness. There was also a lot of USB ports so we could all have everything charged anytime.
All of these things seem like little things but I think it’s these little things that made me really happy and relaxed in the room- bc I could adjust some things to my preference which is very rare for a hotel in this price point.

Breakfast options were good. We stayed 3 nights and every morning I had something different- Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit, pancakes on the 2nd day, 3rd day omelette and sausage (which was a nice surprise bc it was different from the other 2 days - might be a weekend thing? But daily there’s tons of other options- yogurt, fruit, bagels, hard boiled eggs, juice, muffins etc.
in the room There is a small fridge but no microwave or coffee maker in the room but I found that ok bc if u need one there’s one in the lobby and coffee, tea, hot chocolate (and cookies) available 24hrs in the lobby.

This was my first time staying at a Tru hotel but I will be looking for this hotel in the future- and hope they all have clean rooms and great staff!

I read the reviews and was hesitant but took a chance and I’m glad I did.
Let’s not forget I’m not comparing to a luxury resort style hotel- for hotels in this price bucket range I felt I got my money’s worth here and then some.

A great stay!!! Comfy bed, large room and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of selections each morning. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Very clean, nice, new hotel. I liked the compact room and walk-in shower. Had a great view in our room overlooking trees that was beautiful at dawn. Comfortable bed, too. I really enjoy the color schemes and the look of this hotel. Staff were nice and helpful.

We will definitely stay here again. really nice,.clean and friendly hotel Great location minutes from Hersey park and other attractions we stayed here to see an event at The Giant Center.

Brand new hotel! Very clean and built well. Very quiet too! I think the hotel was mostly full but you would not have thought so given the experience in the room. We had our baby daughter staying with us and she slept soundly each night! Great desk staff and wonderful common area amenities!

I enjoy Hilton brand hotels. This was my first time staying at a Tru Hotel and will be my last. The price compared to the services provided was terrible. Gorgeous hotel, however, I'll get better bang for my buck at Hampton Inn.
