Holiday Inn Harrisburg (Hershey Area) I-81, an IHG Hotel

Every January for the last 9 years, l have attended a work related event here. I've always been pleased with the stay. Rooms are always welcoming. They're very clean, nicely stocked with towels, mini fridge, coffee maker [pods provided] and the beds are comfortable. Staff is always so helpful and go out of their way to help with whatever is needed. The food has been wonderful in both of the areas its served. It's at a very convenient location right off 81.

Hotel located 15mins from the farm show was a perfect place to stay. The beds were comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and the indoor swimming pool was a nice warm temperature. We stayed on the 2nd floor pool view was enjoyable!
We had the breakfast included and that was awesome just show up with your ticket and everything was delicious! The staff is always kind and friendly ❤
We enjoyed our family vacation very much and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone because of the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere 😀

Great place to stay! The staff was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

We went there for dinner and the comedy show so I can't comment on the rooms. However, the hotel is very large and well kept. All staff is super friendly!

Workers were attentive and friendly. King Suite room was clean, bed pretty comfy. Included fridge and microwave. The only thing that wasn’t the greatest, was the water pressure. Water stayed hot. Fitness room has an elliptical, two treadmills, and free weights. Indoor and outdoor pool are available. Not restaurants within walking distance besides the one in hotel but many are a close drive away.

The stuff is nice, but the facilities are quite old. A good place to stay overall.

Though we had an issue with a slow drain in our roo.. Olivia at the front desk was amazing, very kind, responsive, and efficient. She sent someone up right away to address the slow drain and she was very informative for questions about different things in the area. Olivia certainly has earned a 5-Star rating and is one of the best front desk reprentatives I have encountered in awhile.

We checked in late 3am and Scottie the night reservationist was so nice and polite. He checked us in quickly. The room was very clean and the AC was kicking. The bed sheets were very soft. We got a great night sleep before heading to Hersheypark.
This hotel is convenient and close by the park. We had another family member on the same floor and they were very happy as well. Vending machine and ice in same floor. We were there for a quick stay at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. The hotel is under some renovations so that means it will be even better next year, Mike the manager was also very accommodating.

My company booked a ballroom and catering for our Christmas party and we had a wonderful time. The room was nice, spacious, and had huge beautiful chandeliers. Brett even made sure the tables were arranged perfectly, had some tables for gifts, color coded the napkins and tablecloths for Christmas, and even had a Christmas tree for us! We were very impressed with the room.

I don't typically expect catering to be good, but the food was surprisingly well. All the meat was tender and seasoned. I couldn't catch her name, but the woman that was attending the table was extremely pleasant. She was very attentive, pleasant to talk to, and patient with us as well.

Overall it was very pleasant and laid back experience and we are very happy!

We went for a large family retreat (and I do mean large) and the hotel was great to accommodate us on various levels. Rooms were clean, staff was very pleasant, breakfast was good.. not your typical grab and go.. you had options of hot food & beverages. Indoor pool and hot tub were clean, both great temperatures. Shuttle to Casino was never an issue to get.

Highly recommend..... so much so, we have requested that the family members that organize the retreat... take us back here for our upcomings.

We had our daughter's wedding at a nearby venue on Saturday October 30th and had lots of family coming from all over the country staying at the hotel. Stephanie Falco was wonderful to work with in providing rooms at group rates and was very accommodating and helpful in the months prior to our stay and during our stay. Our hospitality suite was perfect for our family and the staff was great! The kiddos loved the indoor pool! The servers at the restaurant and the bar were superb! Very nice and attentive as were all the staff. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

This hotel is awesome and I had no idea about the line dancing on weekends!! Food, service and drinks were good! Was able to watch the football play offs and listen to a live band. It was great! Rooms are very clean and sheets were super soft. Honestly I never slept that well in a hotel room. They have a nice pool too but it's outdoors!

I love this hotel! Great , comfortable beds and pillows, big rooms with queen size beds. The restaurant food was not overcooked and delicious. The bartender was so friendly and attentive and the line dancing was so fun. Thank you line dancers for being so welcoming and friendly. Thank you for making our travels this holiday season so special!

This hotel had the good sense to turn down a contract with a very unsafe event coordinator. Based on that alone, I'll be sure to stay there whenever I'm in the area. Thank you fire keeping people safe.

The building is well kept, has a lot of parking space, the lobby and hallways are well designed and clean. The staff is very friendly and fast and the 2 bed room while not the most spacious is designed well enough for 5 people to move around and still feel like an upscale room. Also the beds are amazingly soft, would stay here again.

Overall, I was happy with our stay. I loved our room and how we could walk right out to the pool area. Bonus! Breakfast was okay. The French toast could use some work, it almost tasted fake. I was disappointed that they did not tell us we could get shuttle service to the casino. However i didn't ask myself. We are possibly thinking about staying next year if the price is right. I wish we could book now to lock in the same deal or better.

The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. I was there for a conference so the buffet style meals were available each day and they were quite yummy. Location was good too .... easy to find. Felt safe.

We enjoyed our stay this week for the PA Amusement Ride Seminar. The room was lovely, the TV was updated and the channels were awesome, the shower was tall enough for me to stand up. The restaurant and food was top rate. The country band on Wednesday was very good and entertaining. We look forward to staying again in addition to entertaining for weddings and private functions in their very nice ballrooms. Bravo. Keep up the great work.

I've read some negative reviews however I stay here 2 to 3 times a month and I must say that these people are amazing - they are very nice and extremely flexible. I have witnessed rude patrons and seen firsthand the staff handle them professionally. The place is always clean and the poolside rooms are great - bar and staff is amazing as well and the restaurant staff has been very socially kind. Love the Place - our get away in the Pipeline world! Thanks Staff

Wonderful hotel! Our room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Hotel staff were professional yet friendly and always helpful. Had dinner in the Saloon our experience was great; good food and service. Highly recommend the Sunday Brunch, wide selection of food items artfully presented. Hotel is convenient to Hershey Outlets and the Casino. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
