Leo's Italian & Specialty Food

My first experience here was a good one. Lots of meat on the wraps and sandwiches. Very fair prices. Good quality ingredients. Everything is made fresh. Will definitely be back. So far after only just 1 visit, this is one of my favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is calm, cool, and relaxing as well. Check it out for yourself!

If you are in Lock Haven or passing through, stop here and get their subs. This isn’t your garden variety sub shop. They make their bread for the subs from scratch and how can I explain it other than maybe only God can make it better. No seriously, I have had some of the best breads around the world and only these sub rolls I dream about. Then on top of that they use Boars Heads meats and a homemade Italian lettuce mix and dressing. Pricey, sure. Worth it? Absolutely!

I've had the hoagies a few times and know they are delicious but my son just said to me that he thinks it's the best turkey sandwich he has ever had! Would recommend to anyone!

Quality food right here. Delicious bread, salads, deli meats and cheeses, and baked goods. All that with a nice warm Italiano feel. I would have taken pictures of the wonderful food but it was devoured too quickly.

Some of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever tried. The “Fresh Mozzarella” is an absolute must.

Not too impressed with their pasta w/ pepperoni but their fresh mozzarella sandwich is amazing! I will be back soon!

I've heard nothing but great things about Leo's so we finally tried it and omg it seriously is the BEST subs in town! I got the Italian sub, it was packed with meat unlike others in town and my boyfriend got the reg cheesesteak which was also packed full and I swear its the only place in town that actually seasoned the meat!! Plus the dessert are chefs kiss!! The brownies are so good and we also got this cake that had this milky stuff at the bottom and it's truly the best cake I've ever had! Highly recommend

Leo's is my most favorite restaurant ever! I go every chance I get!

The food was amazing, as usual. My sister in law lives 3 hours away from here. When she comes to visit, she plans her arrival so she can go to Leo's before they close!!

The subs are hands down the best subs I’ve ever had! I swear they taste better every time. Every bite is absolute perfection. Every side that I’ve tried so far has been outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the macaroni salad was. I typically do not like already made up macaroni salads but theirs was great!

Work in EMS, got a call before the food was ready. Came back 2 hours later and they paid for our meals.

Had a hot pork sandwich with roasted red peppers, lettuce, and mayo. The bread was so good. Really nice looking quaint spot downtown Lock Haven. Great food, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Definitely recommend.

I can't believe that Leo's would have anything less than 5 stars! I have been coming here since I was a child and the food is absolutely amazing! Everything from the sandwiches/subs, to the bread, to the salads and desserts is to die for!!!! Something as simple as a fresh mozzarella with spinach panini like I had today was mouth watering and it was less than $7!!! You can't even get a fast food meal for less than that these days! The ingredients are fresh, and high quality! And to read a review saying "it's a dump" as soon as I walk in I feel relaxed and like I'm "home" it's family owned and run which brings me to my final disagreement of a previous review saying the wait staff are "rude" funny I get hugs when I stop in they are so rude they hug me! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion my my opinion is 6 stars!! I love Leo's and everything it stands for!!! Keep up the great work my friends!!!

Leo's wasn't much to look at. But the food was outstanding, and the staff was friendly and funny. A repeat performance is greatly desired!

My wife and I love Leo's. My wife loves the tuna sub, and I'm a huge fan of the pastrami sub. The tuna sub has big chunks of real tuna. It is NOT that soggy tuna fish paste that you'll get at other sandwich shops. Leo's tuna sub is a real sandwich. I promise you that no one else has a tuna sub as good as Leo's.

They make their own sub bread, and if you ask Laurie, she'll put extra pepper sauce on your sub.

We've been going to Leo's for sixteen years.

Best customer service for sure and the Italian Sub was the best I've ever had, drove from Johnstown to eat there .

Food and atmosphere were excellent!!

Leo’s is the best kept secret of Lock Haven. Do not expect to walk in there and be treated like a normal restaurant, think deli as far as their service. But their food is amazing! I definitely recommend the spinach pasta. Their menu has not changed in all the years I have gone there and for that I am glad.
