Great place. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious. Had bacon cheese fries, shrimp basket.

We were passing through & found this place while browsing restaurants in the area. What a fantastic find! It is a beautiful restaurant. We chose to eat in the bar area due to the later hour. The restaurant area still had plenty of customers. The food was delicious & the portions were hardy! We tested out the chicken corn soup, which is loaded with goodies! Delicious! My entre included beef tips, mashed potatoes, stuffing & string beans! Wow! The other entre we ordered was turkey, pan-fried potatoes, stuffing & corn. We both got gravy on the side. We both took half our meal " to go"! It was a delightful experience! The staff & food was well worth the stop!

Went for breakfast that they are now serving on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 11 am. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. I had the hotcakes with ham and was very pleased with my selection on my first visit. The hotcakes were amazing, and the ham was grilled perfectly. My wife had the cream chipped beef over homefries and was very pleased with her selection as well. We will definitely be going back to try the other items that are available for breakfast. This is a fine establishment situated in the square of Millersburg and should be considered a must stop if you're in the area or just want to take a drive for exceptional food and service.

Great food reasonably priced. Waitstaff went above and beyond their duties with all patrons. Large selection of food and daily specials. They carry dessert tray for selection. This is an amazing place and beautiful restaurant in a quaint town. We ordered their deep dish house special that was out of this world.

Excellent food with excellent service. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Historical restaurant I look forward to revisiting.

Went for a 2nd time for their breakfast on Sunday. This will become our regular Sunday breakfast location moving forward. Everything was well made, and staff was amazing. They only serve breakfast on the weekends from 8 am to 11 am so enjoy the drive and stop in for a great breakfast.

This was a tough one to review. Our food was terrific. Our waitress was over the top great! We arrived just as they were opening and got our choice of seating. Everything was fine. The place could use freshening up and maybe a coat of paint, but nothing that would prevent us from returning.

My husband and I went in for dinner tonight. I had the baked French onion soup, beef tips and stuffing with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My husband got the prime rib. Food was amazing. Best French onion soup I have ever had. Tried a mango beer which was also very good. Our server, Stephanie was awesome. She was also the bartender. They were short staffed but the food was so good it was worth the wait. We love this place and will definitely go back. Wish I had photos but didn’t realize I would be writing a review.

We just moved to the area and frequently eat here. When our friends come up to visit, we take them to the Wooden Nickle.

The service was great! The Reuben and Rachel delicious! Great location too! The interior is dated and a little dark but gives the place character.

Located in the town square. We were greeted immediately and enthusiastically; nice seating inside. We chose to sit at the spacious bar. Wide variety of menu choices. The crab cakes were generous portions and delicious; the fried haddock was fried perfectly and also generous portion with salad and 2 vegetables. Well stocked bar and bartender served good drinks.

In a small town, these are the restaurants you love to find. Meal was served quickly but they waited between courses. Crab bites were great. Lasagna was really good and served hot. Really nice menu has a bit of everything. Highly recommended.

Last minute wedding plans and this place was so accommodating. The girls were very attentive and helped me set up prior to arrival of the few guests we had. Food was very nicely presented and tasty. I would like to thank them again for all their help! 🌻🦋

I went out here with all my cousins on a cousins night out. I loved it the food was excellent. I had the best waitress in the world. Her name is Heidi and she is like the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She was so nice to me and she loved to joke around I like that. Never can forget about her I’d like her to be my waitress every time I go there. She made my night better when I went there. That was the first night I met her. I was actually flirting with her because I like her a lot. Then the second time I saw her there I actually had butterflies in my stomach when I saw her. I was with a group of friends and I told all my friends about how great she is. When I saw her I started to blush. She didn’t forget about me she knew exactly who I was. And I can’t ever forget about her. I think I have a major crush on her. She is the best waitress there. I hope the owner lets her see this and she is the best.

Had a delicious shrimp fettuccine dinner tonight. Hubby had pork chops, they were just as tasty. Waitress said it was her second night, would not have known it, she was great.
