Venango golf

It was one of the best public courses I have played. Make sure to make a tee time. They have a driving range and practice short game area and nice putting green. The course is being renovated with some new tee boxes on I thing hole 6, and they have changed the layout according to the starter this morning.

The golf course is simply the best in the region. Other public courses should try to emulate what is happening at V Valley.
The greens are fast, smooth, and super well cared for from mowing and rolling to verticutting. Alan S, the Superintentendent has a great crew of maintenance people
who are courteous, polite and rarely ever just standing around. They have been in a constant, continuous improvement mode with upgrades on the course.
The practice area and driving range upgrades (photos included) in the past two years are now currently being followed by adding length to the front side with the construction of a new tee box. Top notch course.
Oh, and the restaurant dinners are a must!

Highly recommend the “parlor,” it’s a front room and fantastic for a family or friend meal minimum 10 guests, up to 12. The room makes it nice to have a conversation with a group. Meals we ordered included chicken piccata, scallops magnifique, stuffed mushroom appetizer, tenderloin de Verona, Italian trio, and more! Everyone left full and happy. The bread is wonderful as well. We look forward to trying new things next time.

Descent course for a scramble, but the steak dinners they do afterwards are the game changer 💪
Course is a 7/10 for the skilled golfer, greens are always tough and semi fast.

I was in town visiting family and stopped in for dinner. Had the crab stuffed Halibut, vegetables, sweet potatoes and took a slice of peanut butter pie to go. There is one thing I want to highlight about this restaurant because I was completely blown away. This restaurant is IMMACULATE. I am a certified neat freak and have been getting increasingly frustrated by the filth I regularly observe in 99.9% of the restaurants I visit. Whoever is cleaning this place needs a serious bonus and accolades. This was beyond exceptional. Everything is clean. I didn’t see any dirt or grime and I looked everywhere, especially up! The ceiling fan blades were sparkling, the AC vents were free of dust, the bathroom vanity lights were shiny and clean (not a speck of dust) and everything and I do mean everything was clean. I was in complete awe. Not only does this restaurant have amazing food, they have top-notch cleaning procedures.

Myself and my family enjoyed a wonderful evening at Venago Valley Inn in celebration of my Mother’s 75th Birthday. The staff was incredibly courteous and accommodating from initial contact to reserve the private room all the way to completion of the party.

The venue was perfect, extremely clean and very comfortable. Our meals were beautifully plated and definitely above par in expectation. Two young ladies, Karlee and Gwenn, worked together flawlessly to serve our party for the duration of our stay, and despite our turnout being bit larger than anticipated, were extremely accommodating in our need for more chairs and service.

We were incredibly impressed with the level of service and hospitality we received from the Venago Valley Inn staff and would highly recommend anyone invest in the quality experience you will surely receive from this establishment.

First time visiting this evening. Our server was wonderful and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend the sangria.

Beautiful place and wonderful service! I had the Rueben sandwich and it’s delicious, the best I’ve had in years…real corn beef not lunch meat! I will definitely return on my next visit home!

This restaurant is fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious. The menu has a nice variety. It's harder to find a place that I want to go back to lately, but this restaurant is that place!

This restaurant had been recommended to me by some friends of mine for a while. Decided to give it a shot and am certainly glad we did. Food was excellent and the staff was nice. Looking forward to returning here in the future.

Course is in good condition. Greens are huge, and roll smooth, but pretty slow when we played.

We were there with friends, and had driven several hours to get there. We're serious foodies and cook to a good level almost daily. My wife usually finds us places to eat that have interesting menu items or something that draws us in. Our friends picked Venango so she went through the menu during the drive. They need a better menu writer. The descriptions had us wondering what we would find. Things seemed contrived, like someone kinda knew what they were doing but not quite. Swave and deboner is the best example of our impression from the menu. However things were infinitely better in person. My Bourbon bacon chop was quite good. My wife had the scallops magnifique which included a crab cake. Hers was excellent also. The best surprise was the price. With salads and drinks we spent half as much as we'd spent at home in the Virginia suburbs of DC. The historical building was a treat too, following our lunch at Jean Bonnet Tavern on the way up. A pair of 18th century spots. Magnifique!

We always in joy our lunch or dinner there ! I look forward to going there a lot. It's nice and peaceful ,food is pretty darn good 😊
