Abbey at Frederick B. Welker was a ray of genuine care and compassion in the days following the sudden death of my husband. My daughter called around Williamsport to several different funeral homes, and we discovered they are owned by corporations, all charged an overinflated price, told us they would only fill any urns or memorial jewelry if it was purchased from them, like the death of my beloved husband was being handled by a chain store, only about the money. We chose Frederick B. Welker, and I'm so glad we did. We were treated with the kindness and dignity you only find at a family owned business where they care about individuals over the dollar. We were permitted to pay in installments, Abbey filled the urn I brought, and four different cremation necklaces I had picked out for myself, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Patiently and kindly. I cannot recommend Frederick B. Welker enough.

Abbey and her entire family at Welkers are the most compassionate, kind people I could ever have asked for when going through such a difficult time of losing a loved one! I’d highly recommend their services!!!

This business did a wonderful job with my grandmother's funeral services. Everything was clean and accessable. The staff were very friendly and understanding and courteous.
