The Avenue Bed & Breakfast

Oh my goodness. Can't say enough good things about the Avenue! We loved every minute. Lovely back porch for coffee. Great beds. Wonderful location. Very clean! Sue was a breeze to communicate with. We would stay again for sure!

This was a very nice place to stay. It was very clean and was well stocked. The only thing was that we expected a little more for breakfast. They had cold cereal and instant oatmeal. No bread or pastries to make it a little more continental. We would still come back here, just more prepared for breakfast.

Our hosts Jeff and Sue we're wonderful and the home is very relaxing, clean and comfortable. We were very impressed and our expectations exceeded. Highly recommended. Thanks Jeff for the map the planned route was perfect. We did visit the Rusty Railway as per your instructions and had a few pints in thanks to our hosts at The Avenue.

We always enjoy our stay at The Avenue! The environment is comfortable, well maintained, and always clean! Sue, Jack and Jeff are wonderful hosts and can’t do enough to make you feel at home! We truly feel as though The Avenue is our home away from home!

Very comfortable, country home-like atmosphere. The innkeeper is very friendly and helpful. Travelers please understand that this B&B does not offer a hot, home cooked breakfast in the morning. Continental breakfast is included in the price and snacks are free. Price is better than most hotels!

Cozy, Quiet and Comfortable!

Charming. Humble and cozy

This house was very clean, the landscaping was gorgeous and the room was very comfortable. I knew it was a continental breakfast, which is very unusual for a " bed and breakfast". My husband and I stay in many bed and breakfasts and there is always a beautiful full hot amazing breakfast with the company of the host and other guests with a beautifully set table. It was disappointing to find a couple little boxes of cereal, two little containers of yogurt and a few slices of store bought raison bread, no butter cream cheese or jelly.. Considering the owner runs a catering business would it have been too hard to make a quiche or breakfast casserole ? Maybe good advertising. Also we were told to park in the back and then awakened at 8 :00 in the morning and told to move our car when clearly people could have gotten around us..
