Beautiful landmark surrounded by fields and small mountains. The sloped access (dropoff) to the water is usually muddy and even the most experienced canoers and kayakers can fall. Small parking area usually is not full.

Nice place to wade/swim. Clean, clear water when it hasn't been raining. Great place to kayak to or from.
