I’ve passed this place so many times and finally stopped and I’m glad we did. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Everything on the menu looks good and Diana helped suggest what to order. All of the food is extremely flavorful and aromatic. The wood ear mushroom & pepper sauce is very refreshing and is a nice palette cleanser, had some spicy cucumber added to it and it was fantastic. We were also recommended the fried pork belly with leek which has a nice sweet and slightly peppery spice. Lastly the family stew is incredible. It has beef, shrimp, fish, leek, chili, pretty much ever flavor you can imagine with a nice spicy oily broth, one of the most flavorful Chinese dishes I’ve had. We will definitely be coming back, there was not a single thing I could complain about.

Very good Sichuan style food. Not sure why the rating wasn't as good. Would definitely come back. Twice cooked pork and scallion pancakes were great.

My family and I love ping pong. We love the food, it is well made and deliciously. This is one of my daughter’s favorite restaurants for years. Don’t expect fancy dining, nice simple and delicious.

We have been to R&G’s Ping Pong many times. Our kids especially love their meatballs and my husband and I always order the Hot and Spicy Medley. Their food always just hits the right spot, and their service is exceptional considering these hard circumstances.

Really can't understand why this restaurant has only 3,5** rating???
It was our first visit tonight for dinner and we were very satisfied with our experience. The food (Tea smoked Duck, Sesame Noodle, Meatballs, and dessert pancakes) was authentic and tasted great. The portion sizes were huge for very reasonable prices. The ambiance was cozy, well decorated and clean. So, what's not to like? We definitely liked it all and want to taste more of their wonderful dishes.
P.S. Our second visit today was even better then the first one. Had Frog legs hot pot, Kidney dish and Meatballs (a.k.a "Lion Heads"). Spiciness was accommodated to our level of tolerance with "no problem attitude" which was very appreciated by us because the usual case in other restaurants is totally opposite, they say that there is nothing they can do to accommodate. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD TASTY. We had those dishes in other Chinese restaurants, but none of them was as yummy as we tasted here.
In our mind this place is THE BEST Chinese (Sichuan style) restaurant in this area (and maybe even further than that).
Definitely coming back every time we visit the area. And if you like Authenticity in Chinese cuisine we highly recommend it to everyone.

Best Chinese food in the area, 100% my go-to for takeout. Delivery was great with DoorDash also.

A true life saver during quarantine! So glad they’re open again.

Kind of on the expensive side though.

The food was amazing! The service was phenomenal, the cumin chicken was great and seasoned well, the sweet and sour soup was flavorful and an amazing experience overall. This restaurant should be higher rated! 5/5 will try again

Everything we had was delicious from the sweet potato pancakes to the fish hot pot! I normally don't eat spicy food so they toned down the spice level for me. Delicious food and accommodating staff. Highly recommend!

The sweet and sour chicken here was literally the best I've ever had. Slightly more expensive than some other Chinese places I've been to, but that was well worth it. My friend said his General Tso's was one of the best he's ever had as well, for what that's worth.

Ordered curry-style pork on a quiet weekday afternoon. Everything was very fresh and it was loaded with pork. When it says "spicy", believe it. (You can choose mild/medium/spicy or choose a non-spicy dish.) Excellent taste and good value.

I tried ping pong with two children.

We all ordered the same thing as we are not well acquainted with a more authentic Szechuan menu. We all ordered general tso’s chicken.

My 7 yr old asked for ketchup. The lady who waited on us was shocked and seemed offended by the request. She assured my 7yr old she didn’t need ketchup.

The chef brought us our food, he was friendly and delivered the best general tso’s we’ve ever had.

I’ve seen other reviews which essentially say service could be better. Personally I’m more concerned with the food which certainly met our expectations. I look forward to returning and trying another dish.

I work a few blocks from China town in NYC, and I eat there fairly often. I say this only because I like Chinese food very much and I think I can say that I have a fair amount of exposure to good Chinese food. I have to say Ping Pong was excellent! It's an unasuming restaraunt in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The restaurant is very clean, the service professional and respectful, but the food really is the star here. Ping Pong can hold it's own against any in New York's famed China Town!

I'm not sure where the one-star reviews are coming from. It's like they're talking about another restaurant. I can't dispute the service claims but have always personally had a very different experience. The service has always been fast and solicitous and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had any of the lunch specials so I can't comment on them.

The food is amazing. I've eaten vast quantities of Asian food since I was a little kid (I'm sixty) and this is among the best, most authentic I've ever had. It tends to run on the spicy side and they cater to people with an Asian palette (it's always full of Asians) so be forewarned. If you don't like spicy food, don't bother coming here.

I've met the owner a couple of times and he strikes me as someone who cares about his business a great deal. I eat here every chance I get and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

I've dined here many times since my original visit on May 3rd. Each time I got amazing service and great food. Keeps me coming back. Will need to try some other items but the hot and sour and wonton soups are so good plus the hunan chicken is my favorite.

Stopped in may 3 on recommendation of a friend.

Wonton soup had brown broth and was excellent

Hot and sour soup was also excellent

Hunan chicken was the best. A tad spicy but not burn your face off which I really liked.

Will be back definitely

Love this place! I personally think they are the best in town. The food they have is authentic and better than going to China town. The cumin chicken and dried chili pepper chicken was amazing. Also the shrimp with walnuts was fantastic. They have so much on their menu.
