The Brown’s Hill Tavern and Motel

We usually go there at least a couple times a month for something to eat. The staff is always very friendly, the service is great and the food is very good. I always have a martini with my meal and it is perfect.

We arrive later in the night with two exhausted and hungry kids. The staff encouraged us to stay and kept the kitchen open to make the most amazing comfort food that everyone loved: wings, boneless wings, French onion soup, broccoli bites, deep fried green beans, and pretzel sticks. Very generous servings, tasty, and we’ll priced - we would go out of our way to travel through the area again just to stop here.

Great salads!!! Our waitress was very good. She was very attentive to our needs and didn't even get frazzled when the credit card reader wasn't working.

Well the food was amazing!
The people were so kind and friendly.
The motel was also clean and decent.

Stayed next door at the Quality inn. Hit this place up for dinner and beers. This place is awesome! Family run small town bar and restaurant. Staff were friendly and the food was amazing! I was blown away with my Tab! I had the jumbo shrimp dinner and well a few beverages....read into that what you will... And my total was $28! If your in the area this is a great place to eat!

We stayed at Quality inn, and walked to the restaurant. Great food and service. Very friendly. I ordered the burger and fries. The burger was huge and the fries were fresh potatoes, not frozen. Would definitely go back!

The food was homemade and excellent. The service was outstanding. Great bartenders. Room was very old but clean. They have good internet.

Great meal- all 6 of us from 14 to 80 years old raved about our meals...especially the ranch dressing!

It was great to stop again at the Brown's Hill Tavern, unfortunately it was because of taking a break from a snow storm but this is the place where you can feel welcomed. Heather was great at the bar and the food and their prices are definitely the best you can get.

Came in tonight from out of town, on business- to grab a bite to eat. I was surprised that it was crazy busy! (and that's OK)! I ended up heading somewhere else, but I wanted to give a shout out to the amazing hostess that took care of me. I didn't get her name, but she was amazing! I'll be back next time I am around!

PS- I'm sorry you got stiffed on the tip from that guy who ordered take out ahead of me... :)

This review is for the tavern. We stayed at the Hampton nearby. ( recommended by the front desk staff)
Glad to have a tavern we could walk to. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the Ruben and the steak tips. Delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. And the tab at the end was within our budget. Definitely stop for food again when in the area

This litte hidden gem has great food if you not familiar with the area you would not know it was there. Friday night fish dinner is always great. Don't forget Wededay wing night.

Great & Friendly Place. Room was great & quiet. The owner & his bar staff were super friendly & welcoming even though it was near closing time. Parker & Emma were very nice folks. Definitely stay here again in the future for sure.

Food is amazing! They make their own salad dressing and it is goooooood!

I was passing through and needed a late check-in/check-out and the owner was very flexible. The room I ended up in had some problems that I was unhappy with (musty smell, cracks in the door, etc.) but the owner/manager was very apologetic and swiftly took care of the situation. This could've been a terrible experience but the top-notch customer service and the way they handled it afterwards gets a 5-star review from me!

We were staying at the Hampton Inn and looking for a close place for a great meal, having been writing our Harleys all day. Both gals at the counter recommended Browns Hill Tavern. The staff was friendly, and always checking on us, the food was great, and the prices were decent. Would certainly go there again, whenever in the area. Highly recommended.

Awesome. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a very nice girl named Rain. Our waitress was wonderful, I forget her name, but she made sure we were taken care of. We had the fish meal on Friday and are making plans to go back very soon. Thank you all for a wonderful date night.

We visited the Tavern a couple of weeks ago for the first time. We were quite impressed! The hospitality was excellent, Hostess was friendly and cheerful, young waiter was very good. He was pleasant, efficient and confident. The food was amazing! We ordered the Fri. night Fish special. Excellent portions and the food was done to perfection! Not that we needed it, but we took home the coconut cream pie as well as the Pina Colada cake. Both were delicious, again, done to perfection. The facility was clean and uncluttered. The tables were separated to comply with the "social distancing" requirement. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. Excellent, hardworking staff!..I just called to reserve a table for this evening.
