🙌 This is an ideal choice if you like live music, southern food, country music, and hand=crafted cocktails. ( If you are very health-conscious, like places that are quiet then this is not the place to go though...)
🧀 We got the ham and cheese crudites, stuffed scottish salmon, fried chicken and mac and cheese "slice of cake" with bacon jam. We were going here and expected to "like" the food... but it was really outstanding... chicken nice and juicy with a perfectly crispy skin and came with pureed parsnips (never had that before... so much yumminess).... the lentils and mushrooms under my salmon were of-so-delicious... I had an expertly crafted cocktail too - very pink and fruity - perfect girly drink. I loved how whimsical the mac and cheese slice was... never seen this before either. Service was great.

Really enjoyed our Sunday Brunch, food was excellent and it's a fun atmosphere with very nice people. The Shrimp and Grits are amazing (spicy as well), the Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Sausage Gravy were also very good. Highly Recommended.

This is a great spot for some very well-made cocktails and tasty small plates. They have a good selection of mains as well for both brunch (at least on the weekends) and dinner, but the small plates are so good that one is better off getting 5 or 6 to share with a group. The deviled eggs, hot chicken and their version of sliders are all fantastic. The atmosphere is hip and dimly lit, fairly quiet so conversation is easy, and the booths are comfortable and spacious. The service is quick, helpful and attentive. I highly recommend a stop here.

The food and drinks were great. I especially liked that the servings were a normal size and a reasonable price. We had sliders and shrimp and grits both of which were delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Finally some adult options in West Chester. The food is great, drove nearly an hour to get here. Still haven’t tried the brunch which I’m looking forward to with byo Bloody Mary. I think we ate over half the menu the first time and every dish was perfectly executed. They also have some cool drink on tap including home made kombucha and even Maker’s Make, say what... it’s very cozy and reasonably priced with tons of options.

What a wonderful cocktail bar! The food is amazing, the drinks are even better, and the atmosphere is excellent. They have live music on the weekends, which is absolutely excellent. Our server was Jonny tonight and he was fantastic! Very personable, incredibly friendly and full of knowledge! We will be back and we absolutely recommend this place.

The lounge area upstairs is fun! You are able to order drinks and desserts. The Purple Emperor was the right balance of sweet and salty.

We stumbled upon Slow Hand on a Saturday afternoon in West Chester and were pleasantly surprised. They had a great menu for food and wide selection of drinks. The octopus and trout were especially delicious, so much so that there wasn't anything left on the plates when we were through!

This place is awesome. Great food, good service, and awesome atmosphere. Great music as well. If "Bickel" or "ferracone" is in the name of the band playing that night, go to this bar because that band will be epic.

Delicious and flavorful food and great cocktails! I had the spring onion soup and the blackened flounder, and both were a delight - the soup especially! My only regret is that I'm only visiting and can't make this my new favorite dinner spot.

We were walking around West Chester looking for a place to eat for my wife's birthday (we're from out of state) and happened on Slow Hand and decided to give it a spin. We were extremely happy with our meal and the drinks. The beverage menu is great with names for cocktails reminiscent of the specials board on episodes of "Bob's Burgers" (I had the "Man on the Rum" which is delicious!) The small plates are fantastic and plenty filling. I highly recommend the fried mac & cheese with onion jam, deliciously prepared PEI mussels, and superbly light and delicious hush puppies. We didn't go for any of the big plates (we just noshed on a bunch of smalls, tapas-style) but they all looked delicious. We'll definitely be back. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and fun and attentive staff with a kitchen crew that can obviously execute everything beautifully. Probably one of the better places I've eaten in a while.

Small plates were delicious, and the craft cocktails were amazing. Try the Snapdragon.

I keep coming back to Slow Hand because they know how to make food fun. They really shine in preparation of veggies (some of the most flavorful salads I've ever had!) and cocktails (similar in creative quality as Lancaster's Horse Inn). While I have enjoyed their dishes involving meat, I don't recommend this restaurant for diners who want traditional fare or large meals. That just isn't what Slow Hand is going for. Also, their staff are super nice! One more tip, if you are going to be attending in a large group for drinks, you may want to give them some advance notice. Their cocktails are often elaborate and take time to concoct. If you show up during off hours with a crowd, you might find the wait time longer than you like. Cheers!

08/20. Good drinks nice attentive bartender & a nice relaxed setting. Food menu wasn’t really for me but that’s not a con against the restaurant. Would go for drinks again.

My friend and I went here this past Thursday for dinner and drinks, and it wasn't that crowded at all - imagine it could be a different story on the weekend. Highly recommend coming here if you like Southern / New American cuisine with a twist in a nice, relaxing atmosphere. There was a picture of Conway Twitty above the bar and a candle on each table added to the homey ambiance. The jazz band started to play halfway through our dinner. We each ordered a cocktail which was amazing (hard peach iced tea), then I got the corn chowder as an appetizer. Not trying to sound melodramatic but it was probably the best soup I've ever eaten in my life! 😋 My friend got the shrimp deviled eggs and roasted shishito peppers with lemon aioli which she shared with me... I'd never had either deviled eggs with shrimp before nor those kind of peppers, but both were delicious! Then for our main course she got the pork belly and I got the baked mac and cheese with bacon jam. There were so many other entrees that made it hard to choose... would've loved to try their grits, maybe next time! I appreciated that the food, though homestyle "comfort food," was updated and more flavorful, with different seasonings and dressings than you would expect, to liven up a somewhat boring classic like mac and cheese to make it more interesting. The bacon jam added a sweetness that was unexpected but married well with the cheesiness. I think my friend was also impressed, as she said she had had pork belly often growing up but not like this! The chef / cooks clearly know what they're doing here. The portions here aren't large - they clearly put the emphasis on quality over quantity. Jonny, our server, was very attentive and checked in with us numerous times to make sure we were enjoying our food and drinks. The staff here is very knowledgeable on the menu, as made obvious by Jonny's suggestions to us about what to order. My friend got dessert, the pear with sweet potato ice cream, but I was truly stuffed at this point and couldn't eat any more. But I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

Great food, great bartenders and servers! Live music adds to the experience. Even got to watch the last few innings of the Phil's game upstairs. Staff didn't mind us taking up seats and not making a purchase upstairs either. Great staff!

Finally tried Slow Hand and will definitely go back. Scallops were delicious and service was great. Highlight of the evening was the “show” the bartenders put on. Tav clearly loves his craft and makes a tasty drink. Band of Jims had the place hopping.
