Just received an old manual i was looking for from Al Biens.
Perfect. No pages missing, (very important) , "print and diagrams legible (also very important) and in great condition. Shipped in a very sturdy manner backing cardboard, heavy envelope.
And on time.

I own 2 electric bass guitars that I used on a regular basis. Each one has their good and bad points. I really wanted a new one that had the best of both basses. I browsed some of the big stores and just could not find 'the one'. Then I went into WC Music. The variety was unmatched by the big chains! I walked out with a beautiful Schecter bass that exactly matched my needs!! Great store! Great people!!

Al was great! I ordered a Art & Lutherie on Reverb and he called to answer all my questions and follow up with me. Great customer service! And my guitar arrived through shipping in great condition!

I went to try out an amp that not too many stores carry. They gave me plenty of time and space, let me pick out a guitar to use, and then one staff member grabbed another guitar for a quick jam session. No pressure to buy, just friendly service. There are not enough places like this left, so we need to support them as much as we can. Before you buy from a big online retailer, check out West Chester Music.

I've been going to Al Bien for 30 years for guitars, amps, and other music gear. Since I was a teenager, he's never tried to oversell me, never pitched things I don't want/need. Always a good selection, offered by people who sincerely love the instruments they sell. Thanks, Al.

If you are considering visiting a guitar shop, don't go to one of the corporate box stores, go visit Al and his crew. They're not there to make a commission off of you, they're there to outfit you with the instrument that speaks to you.

Followup thought...don't go to a place where a sales rep bugs you every few minutes for engagement. West Chester Music NEVER does that. They answer your questions if you have them and leave you alone to browse until you want to engage. A zero pressure musical candy shop.

Al is a great guy, songwriter and businessman. He accommodates parents looking to start their children off to the professional musician needing gear and the tools of their trade. If he doesnt have what you need he will find it. 5 stars all the way!!!!

Been a WCM fan since '78 - ALWAYS have what I'm looking for . From Al , to Scott & Dave , now back to Al , I always stop in for just what I need . Great store for everyone ! Go in for strings , and come out with another guitar !

They are the most ethical music store No matter what you need they will accommodate you If they don’t have it they will get it and their guitar repair is widely open to fixing almost any guitar

WCM is a great shop for guitars and basses. The best feature is the staff. Knowledgeable, friendly, and no pressure. Take the time to stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I've been coming to this store for years so it's about time I leave a review. I just purchased a Fender Blues Deluxe, which sounds outstanding. I also had my Gibson Les Paul setup by their technician and it is absolutely flawless. Aaron was patient and extremely helpful with my purchase. It is without a doubt worth it to support this business over other major retailers (Guitar Center, aka guitar Wal-Mart). Do yourself a favor and check out this shop!

West Chester Music was worth the trip!
Reminiscent of a Mom and Pop music store through the 60's to early 80's that carries Fender, Mesa Boogie, Boss, Electro Harmonix, and tubes galore.
I met Al the owner who gave me a tour and completed my sale with a hard to get Empress Effects ZOIA, along with an accessory I needed.
If you're a musician and you can get here, go. And, you'll be back.

I broke my high E string 15 minutes before a guitar lesson so I stopped here to get it restrung. (I had no clue how to restring at the time). The guy restrung it in no time and only charged me a buck. Great high quality gear and friendly customer service, highly recommend!

What a great place! I happened to wander in and was greeted right away - I was told I could pick up and play any guitar I wanted. After trying several the owner (Dave) came by and started up a conversation - needless to say I found a guitar that spoke to me ( the new Taylor 814CE) Dave gave me a great price and threw in some extra goodies. It's hard to find a friendlier place - Thanks!

Super helpful staff and their guitar tech is pretty amazing. The store itself is a sloppy mess but I think every indy guitar store should be like that. I will be back there soon. Thanks!

To be fair they should be called West Chester Guitar, because the store is really guitar-focused. With that qualifier out of the way though, what's not to like? They carry great (read: not boring) stuff, price competitively, know what they're talking about, are part of the local and online music community, and work to build relationships with customers. With more and more privately owned shops going bland or belly-up, WC Music is a comfortable home for local musicians to buy, sell, and trade quality gear with like-minded people. I've been playing and buying for 20+ years, and since my first visit more than a year ago, I buy from WC, not GC.

Awesome local independent small business music store. Have just about all accessories you'll need, great selection of pedals and effects. Recommended! Support a local business!

Al is da man!!!! Needed LP mic claws and he pulled them out of his Springfield store and brought them to wc for me. These damn things are hard to find. His service and willingness to go the extra mile tell me this is the RIGHT place to do business for all your music needs, especially guitar-related

Al was very helpful to me in finding an obscure set of bass strings - went way beyond what was required. You won’t find customer service like this at any “big box”
