Crabs Out Back

I ordered half a bushel of large males and they were ready right on time, steaming hot and generously seasoned. The place was quaint and super clean with friendly quick service. Prices are consistent with the going rate. The crabs themselves were perfectly steamed and delicious. Not one bad crab in the bunch. An excellent first experience. We will definitely be returning for more.
Had a craving for steamed shrimp and corn on the cob. Was able to call and place a pickup order within the hour. Nice size shrimp, having the corn cooked was a great.

I'm visiting from out of town and was craving crabs. I'm originally from MD but haven't had them in a long time. The prices were reasonable and the crabs were nice and heavy. The two ladies and gentleman at the counter were so friendly - he even told me of a place where I could get crabs in Punta Gorda, FL that I'm excited to try when I get home. The crabs hit the spot and we had them for a few days because we got a bushel

Crabs out back has always been consistent on quality and customer service. I am all for supporting small business especially close to home. Their corn is so good and it’s cooked perfectly. Their crabs are always hot and fresh. I highly recommend anyone to go there. You will be as satisfied as we always are.

Very happy with my visit and found owner Brian and Son Patrick to be very accommodating and generous. Crab cake was delicious and they allowed me to buy just one. Innovative deviled eggs with crab meat and Old Bay also delicious.
It's a tiny little place behind Tessie's awesome thrift store, and you'll have to take the uncooked things home to eat them, but I was happy and I would come again!

I paired my crab cake with raw organic greens mix I just bought from nearby Flying Plow Farm.

My go-to place for Maryland steamed crabs. All through the summer and early fall I'll get crabs once or twice per month from Crabs Out Back. I have been to many local places to get steamed crabs but Crabs Out Back has consistently been the most reasonably priced for steamed (or live) crabs. The staff is very friendly and most of the time the crabs are steaming hot, sitting on the counter at the exact time I said I'd be there to pick them up. Most importantly, the crabs are always perfectly steamed, perfectly seasoned and delicious! If you are lucky you may be able to find their crab pretzel which I highly recommend too. However they seem to quickly sell out of their pretzels so make sure to pick one up if you see it in the display. You'll be happy that you did!

Got 2 dozen Large crabs and they were LARGE and FULL. Probably BEST crabs I've ever had. Talked to the ladies at the front desk while I was waiting. Very nice and friendly. DEFINITELY recommend this place and I WILL be going back

I hadn't had crabs since Memorial Day of 2016, and something triggered my urge for them, which was fine, but, I may have jumped the gun a little on how many was in a bushel. I want sure who had good crabs, and somewhere, I saw another person had asked this very same question. So I figured out where I saw it and went there, and out of like the first 6 people, all but 2 said Crabs Out Back, then it was another random, and then like 3 or 4 more straight, that said Crabs Out Back. So, that's where I called and they had small, medium, large, and extra large, instead of numbers. I don't know if that's how everybody does now but, hey, whatever works. I forgot how expensive crabs were gonna be, but, went with the larges, anyway. I'm gonna tell you though, I definitely was not disappointed in the least. They were all nice size, but most didn't feel very heavy. When you broke them open though, they were just filled with meat, and not overcooked. I would definitely recommend if this is how they always are. I'm gonna go back, that's for sure!!

Do you want Hot Full Steamed Crabs? Yes go here! This is a great local place to get Fresh steamed crabs and other seafood. I recommend the corn on the cob steamed with your crabs! I frequent here several times a year I will never go anywhere else. Just got a Bushel of Larges last night and they were just what we asked for. The seasoning is great as well. They offer other things to such as table paper hammers and personalized glasses.

I have been buying crabs from Crabs Outback for 2 years now. Crabs have always been full. 5 star customer service. So I was very surprised that someone gave them a 1 Star and negative comments. Trust me some of the best crabs in town and always full.

Bought two dozen large crabs Labor Day weekend and they were so full of meat; the best crabs this season! Love this place!!! :-)

We got a bushel and a half of large crabs... They were absolutely fantastic full of meat great mustard...And the seasoning was perfect!!!! Also we got 6 Deviled eggs with crab on them and a thing of shrimp salad all were fantastic!!!

Very easy to buy steamed crabs from here and they were delicious. Price was very reasonable given the market price most other places. Thank you.

I only bought small crabs and they were like mediums to me. They were meaty and so delicious also an amazing price! Going back real soon!🙂❤

I have to say we got 1/2 a bushel of the small med crabs and they were wonderful . A lot of meat on the crabs and they were not watery . Also the steamed corn and shrimp excellent

The guys here are AWSOME! They have wonderful customer sevice,showed up early and they took care of me anyhow! The crabs are out of this world..packed with meat!

The crabs are good....the corn is sweet and it's a nice family owned business...I'd you call 20 min ahead ....they are nice and hot....
