Beautiful place and delicious food! I recommend stopping in the next time you're visiting Millheim.

A must stop every Friday on our way to Hemlock Acres Campground. The chicken is delicious along with everything else. The baked goods are delicious and cheaper then you can make them yourself. The Owner and Staff are Always Very Friendly!! Highly Recommended!!

Their BBQ chicken is so good. The baked goods are very yummy too. Prices are all cheap and reasonable. They don’t accept cards so bring cash with you.

Update: May 19/2023. Just went there. Food is still very good. Love their beans. They increase the price for the baked goods for 50 cents or $1. But still very cheap. I don’t think they are open on Sat or Sunday when I saw their business hours at their store. Please correct me if this is a wrong info.

BEST DONUTS EVER ANYWHERE!
Even if you don't read the rest of this wanted everyone to know that. All of their baked goods are amazing including some that I've never seen anywhere else. Just luck we drove by on a Friday while camping in the area, but was so good we drove back on Saturday 40 miles over the mountain to get more.
Filled donuts are my weakness, they had a dozen or more flavors each actually FILLED to the point that they weighed 3 times what a DD donut would.
Prices were reasonable, staff was nice and if eating frosting with a spoon is your thing, can even buy gallon containers of theirs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A very nice stop for lunch off I80; roads make it a bit of a drive, but very worth it. A nice lunch with chicken pot pie stew with nice traditional baked beans and macaroni salad. Very nice mint chocolate whoopee pie for dessert; the cake was excellent. Definitely worth the detour from I80.

Best place ever in penns valley region! If you're from our of town or the area please stop in and visit Amis cooking up the best bar b que chicken ever in the valley! And don't forget to check out the produce at hand door to the left with all the best baked goods anyone would love!

Perfect Amish baked goods...The whoopie pies kinda all taste the same, but the banana and pumpkin bread and the apple dumplings are so to die for...Chicken bbq on Fridays is probably one of the best you'll get in the area at any point, along with the friendliest service...I literally am sitting in my house waiting for them to open as we speak 😅

Katie and the girls do an excellent job. Home baked bread, rolls. Pies, whoopie pies, cookies and other treats.
Every Friday spring to fall is chicken bbq.
